Dont know how anyone can say that about him. Hes been class since the moment we signed him. Never let us down once to my knowledge.

Although on here, some * only give players five minutes !!!

    Always the same amigo.:smiley-laughing002:

From recollection, I have always liked the guy - solid as a rock for the most part, but going forward as well is improving all the time. Seriously good player.

I think the point is though, a lot are very quick to judge, and this is just another example. If some people had gotten their way, Lustig wouldn't even be with us just now.

Totally agree, and he seemed too fragile too, but now he is a belter of a player

Why would we sell Ambrose when Denayer is only a loan signing. We need a good sized squad of players and given the number of games we play I would say that should include 4 recognised center backs.

Love having Lustig in our team. He really has that rare mix of quality and willingness to run through a brick wall attitude about his game. Another excellent performance last night.

It was tongue and cheek mate but in all honesty i would rather sell for a decent offer as he and i am a nervous wreck anytime he's on the ball these days..

I know we're short but I'm sure with the virgil money that area will be a high priority even by January..

As for lustig, he's loved here and quite rightly so, everything i personally love in a player and i echo the comments that he could breeze the epl(which i hope never happens).. Right up there with the best in Britain..

As for his start it was very shaky but just goes to show us all and.me included not to judge too soon, an absolute bargain..

He struggled but it's to simplistic to say that the guy was a wally and needed to be sold.

One of the best players I've seen at the club had a nightmare debut and no doubt folk would have said like wise.

You have to consider that it takes time for players to settle into a new environment and get used to playing with new teammates, style of football and opponents. Lustig had a pretty decent background prior to signing(Swedish Youth and Senior Internationalist with plenty of caps). Tells you he has a bit of quality and worth persevering for a bit longer.

Yep did struggle at first I also thought he was on the thin side. But did give him a chance due to his injury probs.

Now? For me our best RB since the World's best RB Danny Mc.

And loved his celebration with Izzy after his goal against the Jags.

Instantly looked more shaky at the back once he went off.

Ronny is right to wrap him in cotton wool though.

I'm (pleasantly) surprised he's never really been linked with a move away from us. He really is as good a RB as you'll see anywhere in the top leagues in Europe.

outrageous claim . He is a very good right back, and a great player for us , but there are plenty of better right backs in europe !

I think you misunderstood him.. I think he means Lustig is just as good as your average 'good right back' in the top leagues in Europe. He wouldn't be one of the best in the world but he is a player the likes of Spurs, Benfica etc. would be happy to have.

I wouldn't go that far but he's definitely a fantastic right back.
