I thought Lustig played brilliant last night one of the best players on the pitch, well done Mikael.

One of our best players undoubtedly. Hope he continues to play centre back alongside Van Dijk or more likely Deneyer since VVD will be away. Also allows Adam Matthews to play right back.

Looked to be holding his hip and he looked distraught after coming off. Hopefully not serious

Only he and Van Dijk are both passionate and actually talented footballers. Two players we simply must keep.

She also said Glasgow feels like home and will be giving birth in Glasgow some time next month, she also said she just wants to visit Paris.

I think they're perfectly happy with being where they are now, his attitude is second to none, he just signed a new deal and doesn't seem to be the type to be desperate about playing in England etc..

What is the point in keeping Lustig ?
The guy can't seem to last 90 minutes. We need fully fit players who can do the job. Lustig having to come off last night changed the whole dynamics of the game, that along with Deilia's inexplicable subs.

MIKAEL Lustig has welcomed the signing of compatriot John Guidetti and he believes the highly-rated striker has all the attributes to flourish in Paradise.
The 22-year-old joined yesterday on a season-long loan deal from big-spending Manchester City, where he has faced fierce competition for a starting slot in the striking department.
However, the Swede showcased his talent during a prolific loan spell at Feyenoord when he averaged almost a goal per game.
That form earned him full international recognition and gave Lustig the opportunity to see Guidetti’s ability at first hand.
And speaking exclusively to the official website, the Celtic defender highlighted why he felt his countryman would be a perfect fit in Paradise.
“He’s a really big talent that has struggled with injuries in the last couple of years,” said Lustig. “He has been trying to secure a starting place at Manchester City but everyone knows how hard it is to get a striking place there.
“When he went on loan to Feyenoord, he showed how good a striker he is and that he can score a lot of goals, and hopefully he can get a good start here as well.
“I don’t know him that well but the way he speaks shows that he is a really big believer in himself. He is a big talent and hopefully he can stay fit here and have a good year.
“He’s a strong striker who works really hard. I haven’t seen him play many times but I have been with him in the national team once and you could see he has a lot of ability and I feel he will suit us perfectly.
“He has a really good opportunity here. People think you can just go to Celtic and score a lot of goals but we have seen a lot of strikers who haven’t managed that. But he has everything in his locker to make it here.”

I'm not going to derail a thread but Brown won't be here next season imo. Leaving Lustig as new captain for me.
