    One of the most under-rated players in recent years we've had, got him for free as well, you can tell he loves it here so no doubt he will sign deal soon. Meant to be back middle of April as well!:icon_mrgreen:

    When he signed I thought, he would be back up to Matthews, who was flying at the time. Lustig looked shakey and nothing special. Obviously, he needed a good break after playing for 18 months non stop.

    Now...the guy is brilliant. Integral to the team. First choice right back everytime for me.

    Yeah off course I do and all other Celtic fans think he is a fantastic player, but you never hear about him getting hyped up in papers or news about how well he was doing before he got injured, and like Mcguire said he is the unsung hero.

    Different way to put it :smiley-laughing002:
    Yeah Hinkel another prime example, Lustig has shown he can play CB as well, solid all round. Matthews gets hyped up a lot and at times I can see why but in CL I have much prefered Lustig at RB than Matthews, just seems so much more composed on the ball and always consistent.

    I think Lustig has unique ability in timing his run to get into position unnoticed to cross the ball. We really are blessed with three good right backs . I think Matthews is getting back to
    pre - injury form and young Fisher has been an eye opener . I hope we keep the three of them as they are versatile and will always be useful.
