Sick to the back teeth of having to say this guy is a weak link. Lost his man and at fault for their second.

 

He blocked the first one, ffs, and it went lucky back to the guy.

I only saw 4 guys highlighted and each of them were far worse for that 1st goal including KT who was woeful and Livaja tore him a new * time and time again. But no it's Lustig to blame, lol.

 

A * shambolic embarrassment..

Then get's done under the second tonight..

He's * garbage, and has been for awhile.

 

That has to be his last game as a starter, we need a new signing there even if it's just for the spfl.

 

Honestly Gamboa and Ralston would be as well retiring from football if this absolute liability gets chosen over them every single week, again though it's fine he literally can't play football cos he stole a coppers hat and put a beach ball on his head

 

The time he got sent off up in aberdeen after a season of being absolute dog * yet still got a game for us after it confirmed Brendan just doesnt have a clue with defenders.
Brendan not seeing that he should have been replaced last january has seen a good celts legacy ruined only for a time he put on a police hat

 

The guys been a great servent to the club over the years, however he’s done as far as being our first choice right back is concerened. Tragically slow and let’s the ball into the box far too easily.

He’s clearly a well liked guy, and still an important member of the squad however he’s nowhere near good enough to be starting most games.

 

Thanks for the good times mate, but you are no longer at the level required.

Unless he is happy to be in the bench and play a role similar to the one Izaguirre had, his time is over.

 

Honest to * I hate him as a football player. It's scandalous how he has remained our first choice right back despite being worse than useless for the last 3 seasons.

Like the big man and in his prime he was a brilliant right back. He’s a liability now though and has been for some time. It’s blatanlty obvious that the opposition target him.

 

He is rotten. 1st leg he was at fault, free cross into the box, and then again tonight. Watch that 2nd goal back, what is he even doing?? Seen milk turn quicker than him. Doesn't go forward and just passes it backwards. We missed a trick not going for the Peruvian right back, advincula. He is lightening quick. He would have gave us a brilliant dimension down that right hand side with forrest in front of him. Advincula went to rayo vallecano on loan. Why were we not interested? Surely he would have chosen us over rayo vallecano

 

To be honest though...it isn’t his fault. He isn’t good enough, but it’s not on the player to put his hands up and admit to that, it’s on them to give 100% when called upon, and in fairness he does.

Recognising he’s no longer good enough is down to the coaching team, and repacking him is down to whatever combination of Rodgers/Lawwell/Congerton you like.

 

He literally could have prevented all 3 goals they scored against us, block 2 crosses and stick with his man at the freekick. Lustig of 2012-15 would probably have prevented at least 2 of them but since hes lost a yard or two he's half the player he was.

 

Done. He's been done for long enough. All three goals against AEK came from that side of the pitch.

Immobile. One-footed. Slack in possession. Weak.

A new right back is essential.

 

Lustig is done. He's a bit part player at best.
