Definitely. Considering we were 2-0 up and cruising within 10 mins against Brechin, yet he kept him on for the full 90 mins. Odd.

Getting to the point where only KT can be relied upon in any defence we put out

Ajer is our only centre half I have any confidence in right now. Boyata and Jozo are ticking time bombs.

    Terrible.

Should only be used sparingly now. Very sparingly.

Rodgers is hopeful Mikael Lustig, the experienced Swedish right-back who made his comeback after a fortnight out yesterday, will be available for selection against Zenit despite requiring medical attention for a knee injury before half time yesterday.

“It looked and sounded horrible,” he said. “He had a reaction when he went down. He had a real bad stud mark on his knee. But he was able to continue on so hopefully he’ll be fine.”

Looked like he was in a fair bit of pain when he went in for that challenge today, glad he's ok.

Unreal how much he's fallen off this season. I was a staunch defender of him but honestly, it's time to look at other options. Ralston needs to get a chance. Should be a priority purchase in the summer.

Hopefully we can get a replacement for him in the summer as his best days are well behind him now .

imo was the only defender yesterday willing to play the ball forward, Tierney was doing a 'lustig' too much yesterday in playing the ball back under no real pressure. Would play him against Zenit because I don't think throwing Ralston in last minute or playing one of our CB's at RB is a wise choice.

I think he sucks the life out of us the now. Has about a million touches before he moves the ball on. He also tries to get the ball to literally stop before moving on. No urgency or speed to his play.

    Yep.

He just doesn’t really suit our game all that much. I get that when we attack he sort of tucks in to create a back 3 with Tierney pushing forward. But Lustig isn’t a typical Rodgers centre half.

Slow, slack in possession and not exactly a physical player either.

Definitely need to look at signing a new RB in the summer, not convinced at all that Ralston is the answer.

    Lol.

Even though Tierney created the space and played a lovely ball forward for Sinclair to cut back for our 3rd?

Also played in a fair few dangerous crosses that were crying out to be attacked.

Lustig was poor again. Anyone that can’t see it is kidding the self on.
