We need a better RB , simple as that. He looks under pressure/awkward in possession from the moment he receives it and 9 times out of 10 just passes it back to a CB. Doesn't even attempt to get in behind anymore . If Gamboa isn't the answer ( I actually think he is ) go out in the summer and bring in a quality replacement . No more Lustig if we are to evolve into a better team.

CELTIC’S victory over Dundee last weekend extended the side’s unbeaten domestic run to 36 games and put them on the verge of securing the title.

It would be a second trophy success this season for Brendan Rodgers’ side, having already secured the League Cup last November with a 3-0 win over Aberdeen at Hampden, while they also have a Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers next month as they continue the quest for the treble.

It’s a domestic triumph that Celtic have only achieved three times in their history – in 1967, ’69 and in 2001, and Lustig and his team-mates are determined to do everything they can to keep delivering success to Paradise.

“This club is a massive club and the fans always want us to win so the pressure is always going to be there, but it feels good,” the Swedish internationalist told this week’s Celtic View. “Compared to last season where we won the league but we struggled a little bit, it’s been nice to play better football and win more games.

“The manager demands a lot from us as players. We’re never satisfied now. We win a lot of games but we try to reach new goals and try to play better football and that’s why I think results have been good.

“We play for Celtic and we always want to win. Of course, if we draw, drop points or even lose a game we know it’s not good enough. We go into every game now like it’s a cup final. We always have 100 per cent focus on our next game and that’s why I think we’re doing so well.

“The standard is so high now. Sometimes you can win a point or drop two points but both games we’ve drawn this season, we’ve lost a goal right at the end of the game and I think that’s why it feels like a defeat.”

The 30-year-old, who recently signed a new contract to extend his stay at Celtic until May 2019, has seen his own game develop a lot since his arrival in the East End of Glasgow, and he has enjoyed the demands placed upon him this season, whether as an attacking full-back or as a central defender.

“It’s been great for me,” he said. “My role has been a little bit different this year. I’ve played a couple of games at centre-half and with three in the back as well so it’s been a really good experience for me personally. I feel like I’ve developed here as a player but also as a person too.

“I’m one of the oldest now and I’ve been in the game quite a long time. I’ll always be there to have a chat with the younger players. There are a few of us who’ve been here a while and we’ll all help where we can.

“It’s great to see so many exciting young players coming through and I’m really hopeful they can continue with that.”

Won't happen, he's doing exactly as Rodgers wants.

When you consider the system we're playing in Lustig is doing absolutely fine, really.

I know we line up in a 4-3-3 of sorts, but what we're doing in possession is a little different. We'll often look like a 3-4-3, with Lustig tucking in, Tierney pushing up and Sinclair playing much closer to Dembele.

Lustig gives us the flexibility to do that, whereas Gamboa doesn't.

And he's not passing it forward and going behind as much because Brendan likes measured play, playing the ball across the pitch and then getting a man in.

On the left hand side far more than the right hand side of the pitch.

Absolutely top marks to the big man for his composure there today.

Had to deal with ridiculous antics from that stand in the 1st half and was the bigger man by a country mile.

    Dealt with it with class

His actual play today was very good.

Played as part of a back three but still found himself stepping into midfield to break up attacks, and still got forward to offer an option on the overlap for Forrest.

I've been critical of his performances this season but again part of a back 3 he is good and played very well today.
