He has been doing that a lot this season mate. Lustig is replaceable but right now, who have we got that can? When it's like that, you make sure you can get the best out what you have.

We aren't doing anything remotely like that at the moment.

Obviously not comparing him as a player to Lubo btw, just pointing out how you can manage a player to get the best out of them. I am aware it's far different situations.

 

Exactly. Either he doesn't rate them or he doesn't trust them.
Tierney seems to have people believing he does have this devloping youth is best policy.
Izzy was dire and something needed doing. Thankfully it worked out.

Something similar needs doing in a few positions - RB the main priority.

We'll see what the summer brings.

 

We haven't got anyone right now because Janko has been out and Efe is even more mince, but my point in I'd like to see Lustig replaced next season.

 

I still think he can do a job at CB, at RB though he just doesn't have the legs for it anymore.

 

Lustig has legs like a sparra's ankles.
He wouldn't survive playing football on the " plots " never mind professional football.
He needs to chuck it and we need to sign two right backs.

 

Can't see him being any better than Erik or Mulgrew.

 

Maybe not but I can definitely seem him being better than the likes of Efe or Boyata.

 

Get rid.

 

Move to CB and keep him. It's really difficult to assess players under the current management because they really are hopeless. Lustig is a guy who has, over his whole time here, been very consistent. It's entirely possible that injuries have caught up with him but I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt and see him stay at least until January.

Some of the comments are quite unfair on him.

Yeah he was * today, he's been * for most of the season but I don't think its his fault. He isn't made to play all game every game for prolonged periods. * we knew that 3 years ago. Its mad how much game time he has had. He must be absolutely wrecked.. Remember he was one of our best and most consistent performers when healthy.

Give him a big rest. He shouldn't be our first choice RB anymore - but he can easily play back up to Janko. If he's not happy with that then move him on.

How the * this * is still getting a game is beyond me! He is so slow it's unreal. When eventually he makes his way into a forward position his crossing is *. He makes Efe look like Dani Alves

 

I like when fellow countrymen do good at Celtic, but he needs to go. I also don't want him starting for us(Sweden)in the European championship
