If we do get this lad in let's hope he isn't the only defender we get. We still need to sort out our CB problem. Even if he is brought in as one I think we should still get in another.

got a doing against england last week while playing RB so maybe Cb is his preferred and natural position but i doubt this transfer will happen

He didn't play well against England but he has been on of the most solid players in sweden in the last two years. He played all minutes in the qualification to Euro 2012, and was the only one to do so.

He is best played at RB but can play LB or CB. I have always been impressed by his consistency rather than his talent. He is a competent right back, and all though i rate Matthews higher, I sincerly think Lustig would do a great job here.

mathews has been great this year at rb and the last thing we need is a make shift cb.

if you reckon matthews is better then why would we want to sign another squad player? also we need a proven CB not a make shift as we have young victor who can play there comfortably

I think it would be a good signing, an International defender on a free, when we will proberly lose guys like Wilson, Cha, Loovens, Majstorović and Brown in the summer, who are all out of contract.
