    think messi's abit of a wee girl,
    "they scored because they are bigger than us"
    definately not going to go into management if he didnt know that before wednesday!

    i know its paper * sturring, but i lost abit of respect for him after the whole 'dummy' celebration.
    think its disrespectful for him to bring out a dummy to celebrate against us at home! glad he didnt get the chance to :50:

    I'm "babbiling on about" a 6 page thread on someone having the audacity :)rolleyes:)to say we were lucky.. All the praise we've got over the last couple days and 1 or 2 of the opposition players, (who are obviously going to be frustrated) say we were lucky and we're up in arms... It's quite comical, and smacks of an "how dare you say anything against us" arrogance.

    We were lucky anyway at times during both games.. there's no doubting that.

    For a team meant to be the best in the world, it's remarkable just how bad they are at defending set pieces. I would have thought that was one of the fundamentals of the game!

    Ah.....so it's "arrogant" to be annoyed when the best player in the world has turned around and said your team was (not luck) VERY lucky to come away with a victory? :rolleyes:

    Were we VERY lucky that Fraser Forster put in a fantastic shift in goal? No.

    Were we VERY lucky that Kelvin Wilson and Efe Ambrose were rock solid at the back against little Lionel? No.

    Were we VERY lucky that Adam Matthews put in the best performance of his career? Well, possibly if you think that Izaguirre would probably have played.

    Were we VERY lucky that Wanyama absolutely bossed his role and scored a fantastic goal? No.

    Were we VERY lucky that Watt scored a cracking goal to win it? Well, possibly if you want to say that Xavi * up - but you can only take the chances you get.

    Were they VERY lucky not to have Mascherano sent off? Absolutely.

    Let me assure you, there is NOTHING arrogant about not wanting one of our best performances and victories against the greatest team in the world being thought of as a VERY lucky victory by anyone - be that the greatest player in the world, or the guy selling The Big Issue on the corner of Buchanan Street.

    That's the thing though.. next to no one thinks that... Every man an their dog have been congragulating us on how well we done... One or two people dis-agreeing will not change that and it's their opinion..

    We played brilliantly! out of our skin and probably deserved the win... That however doesn't change the fact that at times (I'll bold that since you missed it) during both games, we were lucky not to concede more goals.. We infact absolutley deserved to win that game though.


    You also may have just contributed to the linch mobbing of a big issue seller on buchanna street... well done :icon_mrgreen:

    He's entitled to his opinion. Nothing he has said makes him a cry baby or any other stupid name the Daily Record try to brand him with.

    I can see where his opinion comes from but I disagree with him. We weren't lucky, we could have been 3-0 up if it wasn't for Mascherano and Alex Song should have walked.
