I just don't rate Berra... He's somewhat short(1.85m), and we concede a lot in set pieces. We need a dominating CB. There is another fan here that's Serbian, and has a very similar username to yours, and he recommended Marko Baša of Le Mans, once. Why didn't we go for him, I don't know... Personally, I would like to see Hyypia, despite his age. Class defender. And Hartley could be a good captain.

 

Baša rejected Celtic, said the move was a no go. And Berra is strong in air, you make him sound like a midget at 1.85m. Honestly how often have you seen Berra play?

He is good, but should be sold for that amount of money. LB... Yes, Kolarov is good prospect and he's expensive. I'd try with Drenthe(maybe too ambitious) because he isn't playing regularly, at least 6 months loan.

Drenthe isn't playing?? Lord... I would definitely try him. I wanted us to go for some Japanese/South Korean full backs, but this sounds very good. And selling the captain...bad effect on morale.

Honestly, don't know. I would try this wonderkid anytime. You know when a player has right of choise whether to play for country where he was born or his parent's? His father used to play for OFK Beograd and Red Star, but obviously had no influence on Bojan's decision. Maybe he is hungry for glory and succes... Similar to Eduardo's situation.

 

I imagine you Serbs hate him for that. I would, if I were you. Branislav Ivanović and Slobodan Rajković, these 2 play for Chelsea. Are they any good?

Nice one. Ivanović always leaves heart on the pitch and always gives 100%, but would be very, very hard to bring him on Parkhead, but a loan deal is more likely... Slobodan is very temperamental, but a good prospect. What about your guys? I guess Modrić is out of the question... What about Petric? He's very good in front of goal, as far as I watched him in Bundesliga.
