Poor Eck

Its such a shame. You almost feel sorry for Big Eck and the huns fans. They are so deluded that Eck believes his charges might even be above us in the league had they not been playing in the Champions League. Perhaps the excuse would be more relevant if they actually did well but they scraped through that tournament and ended up winning one game from their last eight since they made it to the group stages. One win in eight! Hardly smacks of a hard fought campaign where his players had every ounce of their energy used up whilst taking Rangers to European Glory! Its all nonsense and I'm loving it! Maybe Le Guen will give Eck a job as the Ibrox mascot. I think a clown would be appropriate!

McLeish's comment really wasn't as bad as getting made out to be. Why didn't Celtic win the league during the Road to Seville? Because we had other things to concentrate on. Fair enough we were in Europe for longer but it's the same scenario. While I have no doubt they wouldn't be above Celtic, still think they would be doing better than what the league shows now though.
