McGeady

Thought he was our best player once again tonight hence the reason why this thread hasn't been bumped until now.

Our only player with real flare and has to stay.

 

Surround him with better players and see how he does. He is far from our shittiest player, the abuse he gets from some of our fans is a joke. He doesn't play perfect every game, should we expect him to? I would rather he passed the ball more but once I'll say who the * is in the box to pass to half of the time? The game against Ross County, hardly anyone was getting forward and no one could pass the ball to setup an attack. McGeady can't do it all on his own and that's what he has unfortunately been trying to do for much of this season.

 

It's pointless trying to tell these people this though mate.

Nowadays once our depressed spoiled CUSTOMERS for fans get it into they're head they don't like someone they don't stop and will continue to look for holes in his game and pick up on every bad performance just to make sure they aren't proven wrong.

This guy Is our biggest asset and needs to stay, I'm fed up hearing about his attitude or his ego I couldn't give a * monkeys if he has a huge ego or if he had the balls to speak back at the fans he had every right to imo.

He can't carry the team he needs good players around him All teams have to do is double up on him knowing none of the other diddys are going to exploite bthe space left by that. they just mark him out of the game.

Compare Neil Lennon to Aiden McGeady.....Neil Lennon was five times the player Aiden is ever going to be but Neily still respects Joe Public. McGeady thinks he doesn't have to listen to my pish anymore.....he thinks he's the dogs bollocks! Unfortunately for Aiden he's just bollocks! Am sick of watchin that wee * dribblin to the byline then failing to put a decent cross in. Andreas Hinkel can cross a good ball, Barry Robson could cross a good ball too. You would think that Aiden would stand in training and watch Hinkel and Robson crossing balls and learn something.......but no. Aiden thinks he knows everything. He thinks he's the best player at Celtic. He believes his own hype. He's an arrogant wee twatt. I know he's a Celtic fan but if his wee head is up his wee * then he's no good to us and his head IS up his *.

Get him tae * this summer. He's no worth £8million but Alex McLeish is such a dumbdumb he will pay it. So let's sell the big heided wee bassa.

I haven't met Aiden personally no. But I have heard at least half a dozen stories from people who have. Most of them have said he is actually an arrogant little * to talk to. This does not surprise me.

Sorry but McGeady comes across like a wide boy who thinks he knows it all. He does not. He's got abiltiy but he still has a lot to learn. I get the feeling he's not for learning. Just my opinion.

A decent game against Motherwell and Frank the Bore thinks he is Messi...!

And by the way peeps, the folk on here who berate McGeady (as we have our opinions) are the customers and not fans, according to "The Bore" work that one out!

For me Celtic got outplayed last night for large parts of that game, and Motherwell were attacking at times in 4's and 5's! this opened the game up a lot for the likes of McGeady, who at times looked dangerous going forward. But again, his final ball the majority of the time was shocking, his continuation to hold onto the ball for for to long was also evident last night, again, I admit, he had one of his better games.

But its the games away from home, at Tyncastle etc... were the games are pressed, games against Rangers and in Europe he continually fails to deliver.

he had a decent game last night against a Motherwell side who showed no fear and attacked Celtic in bunches at Parkhead, leaving massive gaps for the likes of McGinn, Brown and McGeady to exploit...!!!!

(With McGinn & Brown failing to do so, WHAT DOES BROWN OFFER OUR SIDE.... ???)

Please dont base McGeady's talent simply on games like this!

 

Think he will leave this summer, he's had enough of glasgow! He is my uncles nephew (and no he's not my cousin, its on the other side) and when he was out for a meal in the West End his car was tampered with! He said the car felt weird when he was driving it so he took it to the garage and they said someone had been loosening the bolts on his wheels! I don't rate him as a player and yes he is arrogant but this is a bit much to take, he could have been killed!

 

That's an absolute disgrace I have strong opinions of him as a football player but once he leaves the field he's a regular joe to me......albeit a Rich regular joe :icon_mrgreen:/

I keep waiting for the lightbulb in McGeadys head to switch on Someone in a previous thread said that he should watch some of the old timers on video so that he may learn something.........* knows he wont learn anything from the living so why not try the dead

For Celtic fans, we only care about his on field and of field performances and attitude, both of which are no-where near up to scratch!

 

Like I said in my post Him being an arrogant little * (according to other people) isn't a good enough reason.

The resentment towards McGeady is not simply down to his attitude, it is down to:

His Final Ball
Not Scoring Enough goals
His Passing
Holding onto the ball to long
Not delivering in the big games

The list goes on....... If you are going to continue commenting on this thread, you should supply some ammo for your arguments "FOR" McGeady, as us non McGeady fans or Customers as you would label us, are getting bored to tears with the same wet arguments put forward in this boys defense.

I think he will go elsewhere and come running back with his tale between his legs like maloney did.
It will take a move elsewhere for daft wee mcgeady to realise how good/easy he's got it at Celtic.
Don't get me wrong I hope he becomes a quality player for whoever he chooses to play for, but for me watching him, he still looks like a raw 18yr old talent with no real substance.
