imo he would be used as a squad player with bothbayern and juve. if he left scotland he would soon be found out. tbh i expect the backlash for my comment regarding mr celtic but i think he believes in his own hype too much. he trys to beat people too many times instead of once and get in the cross.

Ye I agree, I don't think he could get a game for any of the normal top 4 of Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal and perhaps not even teams like spurs, aston villa, man city either!

Obviously Robben and Ribery are twice the player of McGeady but Bayern need two other squad wingers to challenge these guys. With Van Gaal getting a blank chequebook to sort out the dwindling Bayern, I see no reason why McGeady wouldn't fit perfectly in their system as a 3rd and 4th choice winger. Plus with Robbens notorious injury record he could find himself 2nd or 3rd choice for large parts of the season.

Juventus I see as less likely, especially considering Ferrara might not even be in a job come January. THey've not won in 3 and look particularly out of ideas atm.

While McGeady has improved since last season, I think he hasn't reached his full potential here. A move to Bayern will be good for him, and we will get some decent money for him, which can be spent on a CB. We've got a surplus of wingers even without Aiden, so I'm not worried about us. German style of play utilizes crossing, so I bet the German coaches will make him be more skilled at those.

If we lost McGeady it would be disasterious. We already lack a creative edge, and even if he tries to beat to many defenders, to me hes the one player in our squad who i believe can create something out of nothing.

I think if we can get upwards of £6million for Aiden we should move him on and use the money to strengthen at the back. Another striker who can win the ball in the air would be good too.

we are in a win win situation, mcgeady has a long term contract and would be happy to stay here, we can hold out for £10 mil, and if we dont get it we keep mcgeady, either way we win.

my valueation of mcgeady is £7.5/8mil, and i think we could hold out for £10mil

Like Artur he`ll be off sooner or later,,especially if TM cant get this team to perform,,,if the right deal comes in,,our board will sell,,there is no doubt about that, cos they are only interested in money.

McGeady would do well abroad, he's got the technical ability and he gets stuck in.

I'd have every confidence in leagues were you get more room McGeady wpuld shine even more brightly; however I reaaaaaaaaaally want him to stay.

Nope your not the only one, every time we play you'll hear ex players and managers single him out as our main threat. Mcgeady is an intregral part of TM's plans and will be going nowhere

We only got 2 Top Class Players Left at glorious celtic Park - boruc and Aiden... I think celtic Lost enough of their reputation over the Years and would be stupid to sell him.. we do Need characters in the Team who represent the Club in a positive Way and Not only Mr nobodies like Gary caldwell....

i agree with you 100% on that i believe its probably the main flaw of his game if he just got half a yard on a player and put the cross in 1st time everytime no1 cud criticize him!:shamrock:

I agree that he tries to beat people too many times but I still don't see him as a winger, he's more dangerous when he comes inside, however I don't think his shooting is up to scratch!
