If were getting the money quoted in the papers for him, id definately take it. We could get 2 or 3 decent players with that and maybe a winger who can score more goals

if he went to aston villa 8mill and big stan
for the rest 10 to 12 mil due to the inflated prices down there.
he would excel down the epl, he is right to leave,he is a celtic man but he just might need a fresh scene. then he will realise how big celtic really is. good luck aiden do us proud if you leave.

Cant see us gettin 12m unless allsorts start makin bids, but if it happens a would like to see a decent amount of the fee spent replacing him (( Or is that a daft thing tae say )). haha

Was told this at the end of the season. Problem I see is who would want him and there's no anyone will pay 8m+ for a winger with very little end product.

Get a grip McGeady is a one trick pony and more often than not fails to deliver the final ball or score so if we got anything near being quoted and could use the money to strengthen the team then farewell McGeady, also if McGeady is going to be outstanding in the epl then why lawrence keeping him out of the irish side ?????????????????

The Spartak moscow Manager has came out and said they dont want him he also said they didnt make a bid, but you beleive a jumped up journo who has nothing better to do than make up stories rather than the manager of the club who are reportedly intrested in him lol

Mate, if that was the case, they wouldn't give him so much stick. If they knew he was giving his all they would never do that mate.

I don't think it's fair he is a target for abuse when some are no better but there has been times where he and others could have performed a lot better. A good offer could turn his and our heads

    Downmarket tabloids clutching at straws!!

Everyone knows mcgeady has ambitions to play in the epl, and thus is the " you heard it here first" story, when in actual fact we all know he will eventually leave when the right bid comes in.

So what has changed in mcgeadys transfer status? * all!!
Have the press got first hand info? No chance unless mcgeady is an under cover journoulist.

I agree about a Maloney. He's more direct. Doesn't * about as much and passes quicker.

That is true about Maloney. Hopefully Strachan was right and it's all in his head. I know how that feels. I've had a * back for years. It's getting better now.

I do like McGinn but Maloney is stronger and that goes a long way in the SPL

time for him to go, he hasn't progressed for the last 2 years. he's gotten stale & needs to move on for his & the clubs benefit.

I suspect the above conversation took place before that article. Nothing new, no source, no quotes, no nothing. They keep spinning this line about all these interested parties as well, the Russian's have already told everyone it is bullshit and I suspect the others, barring Birmingham, aren't even bothered enough to comment.

Honestly, why does anyone buy these rags?

Think this nailed the integrity of our tabloids pretty well.
