MCGEADY FINED AND SUSPENDED

my point of that was,when strachan/celtic has a bad result and they get stick,thats all we hear is the 3x3 ,last 16x2

but when he falls out with a player,its get him out ,im not going back,stracs a *,ect ect

what happend to get behind the manager,through thick and thin,


and that coming from me ,is saying something

 

Lets see what Mcgeady has to say himself, i hate when * like this happens.

true mate i agree just hold on a minute troops get the facts 1st then let rip. too early just now we need a little more info.

 

Strachan has done the right thing. If McGeady has been petulant and disobeyed the manager's orders on the pitch he deserves his suspension.

If he can't put up, then he can shut up. And if he still has a problem with the manager, he can * off to another club. No player is bigger than Celtic, and there will be better players than McGeady in the future at the club.

But lets see how this pans out.

 

I support the manager as no player is bigger than the club and he has the support of the board so its not a rash decision on his part. I reckon he has just cause for this action against the player.

The people that are calling him a * etc are same player that are always * about him no matter what he does.

I don't know the facts of what happend and i don't think any of us do, but if McGeady has stepped out of line then it need to be punished. To me 2 weeks wages and a two game ban suggests it was pretty serious, i just hope it isn't anything personal. On the matter of the board saying they back GS thats worthless, remeber this is the same board that is foever promising to spend money in the transfer market or promising a blue-chip signing. We're stil waitng.
I don't think he should have been banned for the old firm game unless he has broken club rules severly, and i mean severly. all this has served to do is disadvantage before the linups even announced. I'm dreading Robson not being fit because we all know what that problably means a midfield of Brown Hartley Caldwell and Naka. of those four you can probably be quite sure one 1 player can play well. Just what we need.
I don't want to start passing blame to anyone yet, McGeady must have been in the wrong and I back GS, players need to know whos boss, but he must remember that we are a football club and what happens on the pitch comes formost. I belive GS has just made it even harder to win this title, but he'll probably have some ace up his sleeve, you never know he might fancy playing again, atleast it would be better then Brown.

 

Strachan comes accross as such a stubborn * that its probably snowballed from a single comment.

Although is McGeady has been drinking then its only right he is disciplined but the timing is woeful and the penalty seems all too harsh.

My money is on it being a personal war or words between an arrogant footballer and a stubborn manager.

i think the decision is just harsh

lets be honest with maloney missing the trip to ibrox isnt looking great from the wide areas and now with mcgeady missing im worried

my opinion on the matter is that nobody is bigger than the club but strachan has to understand we need mcgeady for ibrox - one week suspension and one weeks wages would be fine

 

I'm not blindly supporting the manager. The fact that the board have backed the decision says alot

 

i support strachan 100%. Having met mcgeady on a night out, i know that he is a first class w*nker. no player is exempt from critisism and he had been poor all season. the fact that we are top of the league has nothing to do with his contribution. I see strachans logic. He doesnt want any divas or disruptive influences in the dressing room. Mcgeady has played his last game for celtic im almost sure of that. there are two games until the january window and he is banned from both. He wont play again for us. Am i disappointed? well yeah he had the ability to be a great but sadly, not the attitude to go along with it. On the other hand, we'll get good money for him and hopefully we can use that to strengthen areas in genuine need of strengthing. 100 % behind WGS. HAIL HAIL!

 

We have a strong squad. He can play Robson on the left for example. It's not the end of the world!

 

its not the same mate...we all know what mcgeady can do hes class, dont get me wrong robson is a good player i just think we need mcgeady if there is no maloney

Tosh Mcinally said that Tommy Burns used to control Mcgeady and act like a cushion between him and Strachan, helping him to get better and so on. Now that Tommys not here (RIP) then theres nobody to help him.

what would make you think we need McGeady? when we played the huns at CP they took us apart and Mcgeady was in Big Kirks pocket, what makes you think it would be any different at castle gray skull?
