MCGEADY FINED AND SUSPENDED

I felt Strachan treated McGeady unfairly this year benching him when arguably we needed him. When he was injured it was fine for the moment, but Strachan clearly thought less of him this year. Not sure what exactly happened or what the full extent of it is, but I'm disappointed that this had to be done.

 

if its a breach of club discipline then id guess he's been out on the * again .

I cant see him being suspended for offering verbals to a manger

 

Will this mean he will miss OF?

i'd be doubtful!when he comes back from suspension he'll have an"injury" which won't clear up until its time for his medical at.........?

Now I find myself to be drawn to the defence of WGS and the Club as a whole. These players are paid well enough and are supposed to be professional. If it is deemed by the Manager or Board that the player has conducted himself in a manner that is liable for punishment then I will in large support it. I don't know what has went on but I just hope McGeady proves himself a big man and take the punishment and move on.
If he knows his history then he will know that things like this happen, wee jinky had his beefs with Jock but now he's legendary with a statue outside Celtic park.

Brought it on his self, if you think back to the Henrik years theres no way he would have had a slagging match in the middle of the dressing room with any of his managers, no matter what, and he was 3 times the player of McGeddy, he has finally got to big for his boots, time to go son you brought it on yourself!

Strachan is well within his rights to discipline any player, it doesnt matter who it is, pele or maradona. From all accounts mcgeadys performance on sat was woeful as was his performance against rangers that caused the first spat (even broadfoot was laughing at him). Just becuase he is a wondeful player doesnt make him immune from criticism. I dont know the real story behind it but i have heard that they ahve a love hate relationship and another source mentioned that mcgeady wasnt really injured over the past few weeks. But strachan wouldnt take a harsh stance against him for nothing , even if he is one of our top players he should start acting like it and recapturing the form of last year

 

oh * the huns & the press will be touching themselves with this news lol.

what the * is WGS at a * week and a half before the huns at ibrox.... this just makes me even him even more(although thats impossible)

Tis the action of a small minded man who only wants yes men around him.He is trying to muddy the watters to hide his many shortcommings in tacticts and his atrocious record in the transfer market by putting the blame on our most talented player who has a good 10 years left in him.If he is forced out the door expect eruptions

 

I hope there's a good reason for that and not a personal reason from WGS.

hope it ain't another power game between the manager and a player, because the upcoming huns game is way bigger than any ego.

 

allways backed strachan up untill now * this was allways springing to his defence when people gave him pelters but not anymore i wont be back in parkhead untill strachan leaves

 

If Rangers beat us when we don't have McGeady, the backlash will be severe.

 

ive been on strachans back for a while,but i wouldend judge anything untill i find out the facts ,its easy to make unseen judgements,but if i were you i would hold back untill the facts become clear ,,if they ever do
