Hinkel nearly sold two goals in the first half before coming onto a better game in the 2nd.

Was only a few weeks ago we were laughing at the Huns misfortunes.

    I kinda seen this happening.

Thats right . . .I remember one in the first half when he let the ball go over his head.

    Still thought he did okay.

Another thing about Samaras. . .3 up front for an hour. . .Not once was he in a position to score. . .Skippy hit a shot after JVofH made space. . .Naka was following the shot up. Where was he ??

Do you remember when Clarkson beat him like he wasn't there in the corner and the left back * up an easy pass after it.

If it were Naylor, he'd have been slaughtered for these imo.

i think you would see the best of hinkel in a right mid role because he has good delivery and some good pieces of skill

I think the fault should go to Strachan! You can complain all you want about McGeady cannae cross the ball and all...but thats wat happens when you palce rightfooted wingers on the left. Am I the only one who is fed of Strachan playing opposite foot wingers on the wings...what the point of this and he must be the only manager in football to do this...its so annoying. Whenever Naka or McGeady get up the wing and are in a good position to cross they are usually on their weaker foot, so they either put in a poor cross or stop and go backwards!! Hilarious!!

sir alex ferguson plays ronaldo on left sometimes and when Nani plays that where he plays
Rafa Benitez plays Ryan Babel on left when he plays
Ricardo Quaresma also played on left in his chelsea Debut
It is common to play wingers on there weaker footed side because they should be able 2 cross a good ball in and also gives them the option of cutting inside and shooting

I think samaras needs to be given time out of the team. For a big guy, hes soft as *. This is a guy that is physically similar to Sutton....no comparison. the guys a shitebag and a drama queen. get Hutchie in about it. We really need wee shaun back.

Dont see how anyone can be having a go at McGeady. He came on in the game and never got the ball. There were plenty of times that he was free and the pass never came. He cant do anything to influence the game if he doesnt get the ball. The same thing happened against the huns.

Samaras doesnt look a player at all. He is back to his worst like when he frst came on loan.

Hinkel is a total liability. For someone who is supposedley getting called back up to the Germany squad he is weak ata everything. He doesnt show enough going forwad and his defending is suspect at nearly every turn.

Big Loovens was bad as well. He done not too bad in open play. Though the goal was totally avoidable. He gave away the free kick when there was no need. He also had the chance to clear the ball but his pathetic attempt at a header only put the ball into Quinn's path. Thats another game where he doesnt display the attributes to break up Caldwell and McManus.

It's common knowledge that Loovens was Rangers bound and we decided to buy him. Whether that was because he was Rangers bound is another argument after 10 pints in Queens Park Cafe!!
What it has done is put O'Dea back a couple of years, because I prefer him to McManus.
Strachen's mistake was making McManus Captain when it should have gone to Caldwell. Dropping McManus for O'Dea or Loovens would be easier than dropping the Captains armband
There is a bloke who sits behind me in the North Stand Upper who gives McManus pelters every game at home. This is before alcohol may I add!!
Samaras, since his injury from International duty hasn't being pulling up trees, save in the knowledge that he is a first teamer.
McGeady has suffered from his spat with WGS and isn't the same player.
IMHO giving McDonald the "7" jersery doesn't rest on his shoulders and should never have been given it. If anything McGeady should have got it.
I feel for Hartley, Crosas, Mizuno, Donati and to some extent Flood because they were basically told they weren't good enough to play in midfield on Sunday.
I think this is Hartley's last season whether he likes it or not and if I was Donati, this is his opportunity to stake his claim and prove that he is actually a good player

Donati is a good player. The problem is though, that he appears to have had a stroke at some time in his life, as his reactions are considerably slower than anyone elses on the pitch.

Can pass 30 yarders, but not five. No awareness. Like a toddler in a supermarket bumping into things.
