Hopefully see a change next week. I'd love for mccourt play every week and be our main source of assists and goals he has the ability just not the stamina

Whether he can help it or not, some players are just injury prone and even on the rare occasion they come back into the team, always look as if they have never got back to full fitness.

Guys like Phil O'Donnell, * rest him, suffered from the same type of problems.

His injuries have taken their toll and it's clear to me he's lost half a yard.

McCourt will never be the quickest and has his own fitness problems, but he has much quicker feet than Maloney.

McCourt i feel doesn't need pace because of the way he moves he body which confuses the opposition players about which way he's going to go. He strides almost on the ball.

Agree with the rest but no way are his feet quicker it's his style of running and feints that fool the opposition.

He's been one of our best players in preseason, he looks as if he's lost weight as well and he lasted 80 mins!

With all these tough tackling midfielders, McCourt can play the lubo role between the midfield and strikers.

He's the best passer of a ball, on a team that can't pass. He's probably our best player for actually taking on a defender and beating them, on a team that can't do that either.

I'm delighted he's resigned. In fact, going to order a McCourt jersey. If he doesn't become a starter, he's one * of an ace in the hole.

Deluded mate, Crosas or ki are the best passers in that team. i'd like to see mccourt get it on a five penny from 40+ yards.

i'll agree on the put him in the hole as he likes to drag players left and right and shake them all about.

Paddy looked fitter than I've ever seen him when he played in america, and some of the balls he played showed that he has a real bit of vision which is what we're sorely lacking, if he gets a run of games this season I think he'll do some damage.

mccourt does 40+ yard passes quite often

crosas never plays and ki falls over when someone comes with 5 yards of him, none of them showing much passing ability, mccourt warrents a place in the squad more then those two

He's not the best passer thats all i was saying. I do think he warrants a chance as much as most others hope he becomes the player his potential looks.
