  1. why be gutted , what about the 11 who played last nite your not gutted with them, maybe it was paddys fault . maybe you know more than lenny and celtic ,maybe you know paddys a drinker a smoker partyhead . maybe you know paddys not going to sign a new contract, well thats what you said last week , maybe you just dont like the lad , ps how many players at celtic at the moment are any better think hard , not to many ,

  2. I think this is good news, in my opinion, he's got the potential to be our most effective player going forward, leeny wouldnt give him 2yrs on top of this one if he'd didnt think he could do it regularly in the first team

  3. How?

explain how one man could have changed this whole game?

Don't be smart and say the ref did either.

well we had no one who could bring run with the ball,so had to rely on dodgy passing to get us by the half way line.which didn't happen

  5. So mccourt would be able to run at them all game and keep the ball when none of our players where making space and would rather have pumped the ball upfield!

Maloneys a better all round player than mccourt and he was useless too.

  6. maloney tends to go missing in games where teams are in our face.get mccourt in the team and instruct him to stop being so fecking gready and let him blossom into the player he should be

mccourt or mcgeady was what was needed

    ps.* is with the avatar?

  8. So did naka, mcgeady does it every big game.

Maloney is one who runs at teams forces them back, his crossing good, good finisher passer just like mccourt cant stay fit.

  9. I don't think either would have made a difference one out of 11 players playing good is not good enough to win or even draw a game.

    Forgot how to change it.

  10. I posted he wasnt going to sign a new deal as it was on the Huddleboard he rejected a offer , so that could have been 1st offer Club go back with 2nd , or might have been bullshit ,

Paddy aint good enough for here we need players that can stay fit and be fit enough to last the season paddy aint that cant see him ever being like that for us , Aye pre season he looked amazing its * pre season its like a kick around on the park ,

  11. i wasnt slating him mate.i actually like maloney and think he will be an important player.its just a problem we seem to have with our flair players going missing in big games.i think paddy is one player who we could rely on in big games due to his superb composure

  12. lennon said he is one of the greatest players he has ever seen, i think he will play a bigger role this season, especially as it looks like big aid could be away

a know but it would have been at out ball instead of humpin it up the park every time.go to user CP and its on the sidebar at the left

  14. Glad he's signed, the one player truely capable of making things happen.

  15. mcgeady is the player most guilty for going missing in big games for celtic. I think maloney tends to show up more though i'll admit last night does not back me up

  16. Good

Would like him and Aiden on the wings, Maloney just looks constantly unfit.

tbf to maloney when was his last competitive match?

  18. Because he's constantly unfit

He is the type of player that could make kids want to play football & us all to love the game. IF he can turn his mercurial talent into sustained performances (and I'll grant it, thats a big IF) then the next few years could see something really special. Otherwise, I predict it will be more of the same - moments of sublime skill interspersed by lengthy enforced spells on the sideline & visits to the physio.

What is undeniable is that he can potentially be a match winner on any given day & for that reason he'd be probably the first name I'd have... on the subs bench.
