That's good news if true, cause I dont think we'll let him go if we aren't confident of a left back coming in

Still lots of time on his side, so another season getting lots of gametime will be good for him, and will be interesting to see how he gets on down south, where people might have more chance of keeping closer tabs on his progress than there was when running around in the Austrian 2nd Division with Admira... and speaking of, wonder if there will be some young guys sent out there again this season.

Could maybe mean a LB is close to signing.

Good move for him either way

Bit in the scotsman from the Celtic transfer rumours section

The young defender was offered a chance to impress during the club’s tour of America is the summer and put in some positive performances Stateside. Spent last season on loan to Austrian outfit Admira Wacker alongside fellow youngster Tobi Oluwayemi and is likely to head out on loan again, with first team chances expected to be at a premium. The 20-year-old has been eyed by Reading in the English second tier, with the EFL League One outfit happy to offer Anderson the regular football he craves and Ruben Selles desperate for reinforcements at full-back.

Reading be a good loan move for him especially if he going to be getting regular gametime as the article suggests.

How can first team chances be at a premium when there is only one other player in your position and we have yet to renew that players contract past this season?

    Bonkers.

My reading of this loan move for Anderson is that we are definitely getting a new left back in, because I don't think Frame will be the competition, though he's got potential at 18.

I don't think it will be Beck either.

That would be a very good loan for him, not a good sign if they let him leave without a left back in the door first however.

Would’ve liking him to go and get game time especially if he’s not going to feature much with us this season. Can he still be signed by someone for a loan with the window closed?

I believe he can still go out on loan if we haven’t used all of our slots

Hopefully he does for game time as I reckon he’ll get little to none here this season with valle and then Taylor as back up

Grand old team to play for
I'm assuming that would only be to leagues where the transfer window isn't shut?

Think he is out of contract next summer, the fact that we have brought in another young left back on loan and Anderson hasn't signed a new deal and gone out on loan himself to get more first team game time suggests that he is probably not going to stick around after this season :54:

We haven’t sent anyone to the Austrian team either, Admira Wacker.

Hopefully Andersson can get out somewhere playing as it seems a waste of a talent keeping him here.

It’s the same with Montgomery and Shaw they aren’t playing B team football and just randomly here. Montgomery before injury had been a regular at St Johnstone so going down to Championship is a step backwards.

And to think we thought appointing a loan manager was a good idea. Another * useless * getting a job bcoz hes one if the boys.

Our management of academy is a shambles and is long overdue a complete overhaul.

Shaw should of had his contract ripped up and giving Montgomery a contract extension this summer to then leave him rotting was ridiculous decision
