I forgotten but was it Aribo who put in the challenge? He's consistently studs up.

 

He probably could have but I think Ange made the right call for a couple of reasons. First, as Ange said, he has the squad depth to deal with that so there is no need to risk the player. But the other aspect is you just can't afford passengers in a game like that. If he had left him on for another 5 or 10 minutes, to see if he could run it off, and he's not capable of tracking runners during that period it could have cost us a couple of points. Ange made the right decision for me.

He also consistently falls down under no contact. For a guy built like him he doesn’t half like hitting the deck.

 

Think he fell in the box earlier aswell and wanted a penalty.

Hopefully not injured, it looked a bad one, his leg was planted and the hun who tackled him with force went right into it with his knee. Might just be an impact injury and bruising but could have done serious damage as well.

 

He does one of those tackles per game. Follows through with the studs up in challenges he's not going to win.

Good news indeed. So taking him off was just erring on the side of safety at the time then. Thats part of the advantage of having 5 subs as an option allowing you to make a decision like this.
