Rogic is magic on his day but this guy is more of an all rounder without a doubt..

That wee pass for our second and the drag back pass for Abada, Rogic is the only player that does that regularly.....particularly the former those wee slipped passes where player's are on the run....can't explain what I mean but you'll know those Rogic wee slip passes on the run he does..

Riley McGree or this guy. L O L..

    Won a watch..

Big man was excellent again last night. So composed on the ball and, as I've been told by my wife and sister in law, absolutely drop dead gorgeous. So, I have lost my granddaughter to the well groomed Jota and now my wife to that big handsome *.:56:

Ange will be having a massive headache when we get all our midfielders back from injury.

O'Riley can't be dropped on his current form.

How can we take this guy out the side? Gonna be some amount of options when everyone's fit. I reckon we're going to see constant rotation when it's all in full flow.

I'm no a Turnbull hater at all and think he provides us with a lot but he is no longer a first name on the team sheet, guaranteed started for us..

We all spoke about needing a mobile midfied for the way in which Ange wants us to play, that trio had a bit of everything and is probably gonna be our best consistently..

Rogic will come back in and have stormers and Turnbull will get his look in....but I feel like that trio will be consistently be good together when up to speed. Three ballers who can mix it and get about the park and all offer a threat, as well as passing team's to death..

    O'Riley - £1.5m
    Starfelt - £4m
    Kyogo -£4.6m
    Hatate - £1.4m
    Juranovic - £2.5m
    Maeda - £1.3m
    Hart - £1m
    Ideguchi - £0.8m
    Abada - £3.5m
    Giakoumakis - £2.5m
    Jota -£6m-£6.5m
CCV - £4m-6m (figure has never properly been confirmed it was rumoured they wanted £4-5m before we got him on a loan.
    McCarthy- Free
    Scales -£0.5m
Kenny, Urhoghide, Shaw combined - £0.6m

So spent £24.2m so far not including buying CCV or Jota which could cost us between £10-£12.5m, so total of £34.2m - £36.7m.

We brought in around £33.2m in the summer (if you take off the cuts owed to PSG and Start IK). However there were considerable add ons in the Edouard deal (£4.5m minimum) which will likely have been achieved given his success at Palace; £4m for Ajer’s Brentford deal which is mainly linked to Brentford staying up and £2m in Christie’s if Bournemouth get promoted. So potentially those sales could raise up to £43.7m.

So even if we sign CCV and Jota, if just the Edouard add ons are realised we will have done the rebuild so far whilst making a small profit on transfers and have the likes of Hatate, ORiley, Abada, Kyogo, Maeda (hopefully), Jota, Juranovic, CCV and Turnbull
all worth high multiples of what we paid for them.

Superb last night and very good in general since he arrived. Passing, control, vision, all excellent. Looks a steal at £1.5M. Turns out McGree preferring Boro was a blessing in disguise.

There's something refreshing about him as a person, the way he speaks and conducts himself. Almost weird for a footballer, like he's a bit shy or internal. I reckon he's a really, really intelligent lad. Chimes with what Ange says about buying a person, not just a player.

Absolute daylight robbery by our guys.

Putting numbers to names like that just shows how effective transfer business has been so far.

I reckon a mix of any of them will be consistently class mate, best midfield I can remember since we had Broony, Ki, Ledley, Kayal and Wanyama all at their best. And think it will potentially outclass that by wuite a bit.

Bang on Dev. We've now got depth which we so badly needed and whoever really drops out, we won't be weakened as a team at all now as the two to come back in are still class..

I did think we were still too slow with Turnbull and Rogic in the trio. Lost our way in a few midfields this season and just one at a time in will likely be the way to go....instead of both, the the bigger game's particularly..

Doesn't seem as though Ange signs bad players. He's a great judge of ability/potential.

However, you'd have to wonder about Scales/McCarthy. Two irish lads signed by the club. Wonder if Desmond was behind those. You've also got Johnny Kenny signed from LOI.

The LOI obviously has some talent in it, but I'd prefer we moved away from this scattergun approach to signing players in the hope 1 or 2 are talented. Ange should bring in his own scouts and development team.

I think both of them being overplayed because of a lack of backup highlighted the ‘pace’ issue more than it would when there’s able replacements, O’Riley and Hatate’s fitness isn’t there yet as well and noticeably majorly slow down by 60/65 minutes in. Those guys were carrying that pace up for 3 games a week for months on end, it’s not surprising it had an effect.

He's a class footballer in a midfield of class footballers. Some of his play is a joy to watch and he's a grafter into the bargain same as Hatate.

To think that five weeks ago we were all panicking about our lack of depth in midfield. Proper planning, proper signings. What has Ange done to our football club?

Literally just wrote a similar thing in the McGregor thread.

We had three names that were nailed on to start matches for those positions pre Christmas. Now? Now, we have at least 5 players challenging for 3 spots. The depth in the middle of the park is of such high quality. It really is incredible.

This Kid can play, Never thought I would be saying this once we signed him but Rogic's on the bench!

I wouldn't be so quick with that analysis mate because Tam is flying this season as well, I think there may even be opportunities to play both in certain games.

Love the positions he was taking up on the right to link up with Juranovic and Abada, their midfield couldn’t deal with it at all.

Bhoys just in the door and looks like he’s been playing with this group for years.

    What a bargain.
