My good lady will be in absolute bits if the big handsome * leaves and I will also be gutted but for purely footballing reasons of course

 

Today made me feel (slightly) better about him going. We were brilliant at times and he wasn’t involved in much of it. He was actually poor for a change, kept trying World Cup passes and none would come off.

Will still be a huge miss and wouldn’t be replaced straight away. Hopefully Bernardo or Holm can chip in with good numbers as I doubt we will be buying anyone else in that position this window.

But I'm not rally overthinking it. He's a really, really talented, gifted player who I love working with. He really enjoys his time here at Celtic and we'll just see day by day

But as long as he's here, the concentration is on improving him, improving his game and like you see in the the game today, his attitude is first class and he knows that I trust him 100 per cent.

"I'm not aware of any new bid, at least I wasn't last night up until this morning. He's training very well and playing very well and until I'm told something different, we just continue along that road."

 

He's so good on and off the pitch.

He's going to be a huge loss.

He’s going to be an enormous loss to this team. We will really need to spend some money on giving Cal and Hatate some help in there. They can’t carry us all season.

 

Thought he was excellent, in an attacking and defensive manner. Made some amount of interceptions in good areas.

I’ve came to terms thats he’s leaving & just want it over and done with ASAP so we have enough time to try and find a suitable replacement.

Anyone think Bernardo is his replacement. That why he came back. Doubt he would came back to sit on bench most week like last season

The main suspect is obviously O'Reily for whom there is currently no agreement with Celtic .


Atalanta has been after him for months and will make a further bid in the coming days. Until they have closed for his arrival (or that of someone else) nothing will change regarding the Koopmeiners situation.
