If true, and whether that was the right or wrong decision, it undermines the will of the manager.

what frustrates me is that we only really hear rumours and chinese whispers, as when the manager leaves they rarely go into depth about conflicts.

It seems Lennon is now firmly back in the Lawell camp. Probably due to the fact Lawell took him back for his second stint.

There is an element of risk in both decisions but the pros of keeping him until the summer far outweigh the cons.

 

£25m + 15-20% sell on fee should be the minimum offer on the table. If he goes on to be a star at Atletico there will be PL clubs willing to pay triple price for an English FA trained player. We need a good slice of that cake.

 

That’s the thing for me. Does it even matter how much he goes for? We’ll be signing the same players in the summer regardless. Who cares?

£20m is the minimum Celtic would get in the summer and you'd probably get a few more clubs bidding. It would have been stupid selling now. He gets some game time at the Euros and his value goes up.

A guy who in 29 games has scored 10 and assisted 12 should be going for far more than that. I'll add that 4 of those 12 assists have come against the huns, Lazio, Atletico and Feyenoord. So it isn't just assists against nobodies like Ross County.
