    I've watched him 3 or 4 times and he stood out every time. Every performance I've seen of him has been very good but I haven't seen enough of him.

    Cos it's just that easy, eh!

    Defence and Goalkeeper is priority for now. Also Bangura, Murphy and Juarez have been 3 of Lenny's most expensive signings and they've flopped - money doesn't guarantee a thing.

    Marriapa at Watford probably the best championship centre back will be a good few teams in for him this season Newcastle missed out in January, as for Mills I was at Leicester in the academy so I keep an eye on them and I would hope we could bring somebody of better quality than him in.

    Agreed and good post.Communication is key at the heart of our defence, and as the league is a marathon and not a sprint, we can't afford any botch ups that could cost us vital points at the start of the season.If we can get this deal done and offload Kelvin Wilson in the process, it will be a very tidy piece of business by us.

    Im sure you guys will correct me but of our most recent centre backs, i cant seem to recall any of them being particularly vocal. I know its hard to tell in a match situation but even on tv you see guys like terry shouting all the time, communicating with the back line. I have not seen much of Matt Mills but i feel that we need a leader at the back. Someone to * Cha!

    Looked very good at Reading but seems like he hasn't managed fit in at City. it happens. if he could regain the form he had at Reading he could be great.

    having said that, i was expecting better. then again Hooper made the jump to us with ease.

    I remember a certain player of the year Charlie Mulgrew fell out with his manager Gordon Strachan, and we all know how that story turned out.

    I have a feeling this Mills could turn out the same for us
