Long term deal recently signed so will cost a lot for a player with potential. I know eduard was young but we at least had a loan deal and could see his potential.
If your spending 7mil it needs to be on someone who is expected to challenge and be an integral part of the team.

I know price doesn't mean anything really but for that price the stats don't match the price tag

Only way I see it happening is if Abada does go. Although Kvistgaarden has mainly played as a striker in a front 2 and been the second striker, he plays on the wing for the Danish U21 team and has done for Brondby when they play 4-2-3-1 instead of 3-5-2.

Which isn’t actually dissimilar to Abada before we signed him as he played significant game time as a striker in a front 2.

Don’t get me wrong I think they are different players in terms of style Kvistgaarden is a bit better on the ball and off it in terms of pressing and winning the ball back, also more creative in his passing. Where as Abada is a better finisher but they occupy similar spaces on the pitch, both fairy quick and neither are the tallest.

We do. We've been conditioned to think profit, profit, profit.

But money doesn't equate to success unless you're willing to spend it. I know it's not guaranteed but it increases your chances significantly.

I don't know much about this lad but if we're tapping up Danes, Gronbaek would be high on my list.

Is this not been confirmed as Brondby not considering any bids? For a title push, currently sitting 2nd.

He's no gonna find him at Brondby

And if he is looking for a replacement I doubt it's gonna be someone of a similar height

Why not? That’s the kinda comments EPL fans aim at us, and we go wild over it.

Mind Neil Warnock saying he didn’t take a second look at Van Dijk when the option was there ‘because he was doing well at Celtic in Scotland’ or Pardew discounting Forster’s time at us as not playing a good level of football so can’t judge him.

Kyogo had never played outside Japan and was knocked as a guy who was approaching peak years and not been good enough to move out the J League why is he £4.5m. Hatate was a utility player in the J League played LB half the time 18 months out of University football.

    * can skip 20 years of examples in between and go straight to Lubo was an old journeyman who was mates with the manager, and Larsson wasn’t good enough to play upfront for Feyernood got bombed out to the wing then out the team altogether and came to us in a cut price deal.

Where they play, what team they’re at, matters very little compared to what talent they have, and how they fit in to our plans.

Plus * Norway mate, they’re producing * cracking players at the moment. Wish we had the vision to look at Halaand when he was at * Brynne or
    Molde.

He found an Edouard replacement in Japan, mate.

Trust me, there are significant talents in Scandinavia and in Denmark and Norway specifically.

Midtjylland, Brondby, Copenhagen and Nordsjaelland churn out talent all the time from Denmark.
Bodo, Molde and Rosenborg from Norway are the same.

Some of the players that have left these clubs recently would be unbelievable for us.

£8.5m for a guy with not even 1 in 3 in Denmark. * dat.

Presumed he was some bustling big striker, he's a fkn extra from the Shire in Hobbit.

A 1/3 record for a guy who doesn’t always play as a striker is good going.

I think £8.5m is too much and would have preferred Moumbagna from Bodo instead, especially at £7m but this boy is 21 years old, he’s played 81 times for Brondby with 22 goals and 12 assists.

I’d love him here but wouldn’t pay £8.5m for him. I’ll guarantee you he leaves Brondby and absolutely kills it in Germany or something.

I don't see it with this guy at all. Don't understand the hype he's getting in Denmark.

I did have that opinion, but i think this season he has about 7 goals and 7 assists which isnt bad at all and you would hope those figures would rise at a team that might create more chances.

In the least smarmy way possible, have you watched him live or do you follow Danish football?

if hes the one Rodgers wants, id consider loaning them Holm for 18 month loan deal. He would be closer to home, get 50+ games at a decent level and return a better player.

Holm doesn’t need 18 months away.

He’s also a more exciting prospect than Kvistgaarden, for me.
