See he got a hat trick at the weekend. Got 9 goals and 4 assists in 14 games, 11 starts. A goal or an assist every 71 minutes and Brondby are in 5th in the league.

He also scored in both his Denmark U21 games and got 2 goals and an assist in 3 European qualifiers.

He is not a player I have been overly interested as regards signing for Celtic, I see him more of a utility forward/winger, rather than a specialist striker, and I recognise some may see that as an advantage to have in the squad, but I am honestly not sold on him. I see him as one of those perennial names we are always going to be associated with each transfer window, just like Finnbogason, without any real interest emerging on our part.

He’ll be off to the Bundesliga in January, out of reach now. He would’ve been a great Kyogo successor and someone who could play out wide too. No idea why people were against us signing him, he looked talented in all the reports and videos when first linked.

Will be out of our price range now. Be looking at an Engels type fee again which i don't fancy us doing twice in a season.

We had a scout watching their game vs Nordsjaelland at the weekend where he scored again. No idea if it was to watch him or someone else.

It’s a league we should always be following closely. Nordsjaelland always seem to have some highly rated players

We could easily pay £10m or break the record again no issues got plenty surplus cash this season but agreed well out our range now.

Hope we haven’t missed the boat on him.

Would rather we used the Idah money on him and a young third choice striker.

I feel Kyogo is leaving us in the Summer.

I’d be pretty delighted with Kvistgaarden brought in as his replacement. Does the Danish league end in Jan? If so, get him in then and bed him in for 6 months first

No they play a similar season to the old Scottish one. Just their winter break is extreme it’s like 2 months long. They start a bit earlier in the summer stop early December (I think) then don’t play until mid to late February.

Although Brondby got no European football this year, failed to get through qualifiers and are 5th in the league all be it there isn’t much between the top 5 or 6 teams.

    https://www.tipsbladet.dk/nyhed/superliga/mange-topklubber-paa-plads-i-broendby

The Tipsbladet can say that big clubs such as Bologna and Hellas Verona from Serie A, Turkish Fenerbache, Brighton & Hove Albion from the Premier League, Dutch Feyenoord and the Scottish champion club Celtic are in place at Brøndby Stadium

And that is just some of the clubs that are present.

Especially the latter, i.e. Celtic, is probably interesting to mention.

Celtic have previously been reported to be very interested in Mathias Kvistgaarden, and they have attended several of the recent matches at Brøndby Stadium

However, several of the clubs also have a demonstrably good eye for Danes. Feyenoord is coached by Brian Priske, while Brighton & Hove Albion have traded in FC Nordsjælland several times and have Matt O'Riley in the squad. In addition, there have also been Danes visiting several of the other clubs.

Brøndby IF and FC Nordsjælland play together at 20:00.

I have a feeling this will be another of those what if we hadn't been so cheap situations that we look back on in a few years, I hope not but I can't see us getting him now

I hope we go back in and spend the £10m it would take to bring him here.

We need to start acting the big yin when it comes to the transfer market.

    We have money. Spend it.

Get him in the door. Get Miller sorted and loaned back out.
Slap a big in for Valle and look to get another CB in January.

That would be a sensational January window!
