Media saying brondby where quoting £11m to £13m and then it's £7.5m don't know how reliable that is from the poster but if true then our board have some serious questions to answer unless the player and agent was stringing us along

If this is true, and we could’ve taken him on loan with an option of £7m, I’ll be genuinely apoplectic.

Doubt it’s true, but if it is, they were clearly just trying to get maximum £££ off us, knowing we’d sold Kyogo. Left ourselves pratted at the negotiating table. Same with the timing of the O’Riley and Engels deals in summer.

If he was available for £7 million he'd be in the door far earlier, our board aren't great but they wouldn't be that cheap.

Maybe so but things like that and the fee Brondby are looking for are things we could of figured out in December and not leave everything to the last minute.

Signing people on deadline day is only for clubs who are disorganised.

As a club we seem to think that you can't do any business, scouting or talk to clubs or agents in-between windows

Maybe he just doesn’t fancy the SPL and Celtic that could really be part of it also. If he’s looking at a top 5 league or has interest in a top 5 league then he’s probably looking at that as a better option

Yep and again that's on us. With this * ridiculous 1 deal at a time strategy we have. Should have had another 2 or 3 options all on the go at same time.
