Missed the boat with this one. Will be Germany, Italy or the lower end of the Prem for upwards of £11mil +

I thought as much but without sounding like an ITK * he’s meant to be signing in Jan for 9m if Kuhn gets an offer of 20 or so million like expected. His compilations aren’t moving me personally but his numbers are exceptional this year so credit the initial scouting if he does go elsewhere. He’s been a long term lowball.

That wouldn’t be a like for like replacement with Kvistgaarden who does play wide or as one of a two inverted wingers of a bigger striker but I would compare him more to a Maeda or perhaps Sinclair type winger. How dribbling and ball carrying are good but he is not a traditional winger style player like Kuhn is.

Like I would worry about playing a front 3 of Kvistgaarden, Kyogo and Maeda, whereas for certain games, I would love to see Kuhn in for Maeda in that front 3, or even as another option to Kyogo.

He has a lot of the attributes that would make him a good fit to our team.

Can’t see any team spending £20 mil on a player after a good 6 month spell. Maybe after next season or at most this summer

I dont think the board will part with that kind of money twice in a season. Because we have never done it before.

We hadn't spent over £9m on two players in one window until the last window.

Don't see this one being reliant on Kuhn leaving. He's not even an out and out winger.

Just the press putting 2 and 2 together and getting 10.

Him, CB, winger and clarity on LB situation is the key for January. Spend.

Can't see this happening in January unless we are able to move on Palma..

    Hope I'm wrong.

Jan would be very soon but I think the summer would be a goer for a lot of clubs because he would’ve been known from his younger days.

In other words it looks like a top prospect that just needed a year or two to get a few things right, rather than a £20m+ player coming completely out the blue.

How do you keep 4 centre backs happy? I think there is no chance we sign a CB

I think that is a good point. Our only chance for getting a good other centre back in would be stumbling across a young player like a Frimpong or they did with Bassey, where they come in as a development player and turn out higher level.

Ideally for us just when you look at our bench last night we could do with a centre back that could play right back or a centre back that can play as a sitting centre midfielder.

Likewise I cannot see us getting Kvistgaarden plus a winger. I can also only see us getting one player for attacking positions that can likely play across all three Bogusz we were linked with seems in that mould too.

Left back is up in the air and hard to call, will Taylor sign a new deal? Is keeping Valle a no chance? If so that becomes a priority for January.

I don’t think we will sign anymore than 3 in January unless a big name lights up the next two CL games and gets poached away.

It will also come down to can we shift Nawrocki, Palma, Holm, Bernabei etc there is still a lot of deadwood on the books.

We should be in for him straight from the off in January. If we leave this until the summer, he’ll be off to one of the big 5 leagues.

I'd be bringing someone in to replace Nawrocki and Welsh.

Another young project type. Seeing as the last two failed.

Celtic have set their sights on signing Brondby IF forward Mathias Kvistgaarden in January, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that Celtic scouts are continuing to “keep tabs” on the 22-year-old
    .

    .
The striker himself has suggested that he would be interested in a move away to a new league for a fresh challenge, and the Hoops are long-term admirers of him.

The striker has scored 13 goals in 20 appearances across all competitions this season which has seen him gain plenty of admirers around Europe.

    .

If a deal isn’t possible in January then the Scottish giants are prepared to be patient and look at seeing if he could be signed next summer.

It is believed that Brendan Rodgers has a strong enough squad to compete on all fronts if there are no injuries between now and the end of the season, but further strength in depth is something he’s looking to secure.

13 goals and 5 assists in 20 matches so far this season.

He has mostly played at CF for Brondby this season but can play on either side of the wing and did play LW earlier in the season.

If he's coming in, he'd be coming in as our LW option imo, Kyogo and Idah at ST and I don't see either leaving anytime soon.
