From the info available, it’s my prediction - and look around you; I’m not alone - that the guy would flop here. At the price he’s likely to command, I don’t see it being at all worth the risk, just like the guys I listed above weren’t worth it. Not a thing wrong with that comparison.

If you’re that over-invested that you can’t take a thread being bumped without anything new, away and take it out on someone else, rather than trying to dress it up as a legitimate counterpoint to a genuine concern.

That's not highlighting concerns, you're making an assumption based off nothing. I'm probably one of the few on here who watch the SuperLiga and the Eliteserian. I think he would do well here. Do I think we should pay £10m for him? No, I don't but it doesn't mean he would be a flop like Amido Balde.

There is also absolutely nothing in your comparisons. Amido Balde, Lassad, Scepovic and Flo were all bigger, less agile players. Kvistgaarden is the complete opposite. They don't play the same way, they don't have the same physical attributes and none of them were absolutely thriving at their previous clubs.

Kvistgaarden is the one of the highest rated players in the Superliga this year. Brondby are also performing extremely well in Denmark and are currently in a title fight. He's a huge reason for that. He's also 21 years old with 5 goals and 5 assists in 15 games this season.

 

I think theres a chance we might. If we go into the final day without any other players signed, i think Brendan will be demanding we make a big play for him and i think the board will know that they need to get everyone back on side.

There is no bid for Mathias Kvistgaarden, and there is no talk of anything either. Brøndby have also always said that they want to keep him at least until the summer. Nothing has changed.
