The more footage I see of him the more I think he’d be a direct replacement for MOR tbh.

Looks like he could be a powerful runner from midfield, capable of scoring and creating goals. Not the exact same as MOR - doesn’t look as graceful on the ball but more powerful and pacey.

I dont like to use the "red flags," moniker, and looking at the videos he seems a player that would do well for us.

But 8m for an mls player, who was pretty poor in his time in europe, has had one season of prolificy, and couldn't get into a * awful polish side... Ummm, maroon flags?

If this was a 3 or even 4m deal, ate , sure why not, maybe worth a punt. But 8m is taking the *.

8m buys you proven quality from europe with less question marks and more pedigree. Slap another 2 on that and youre getting an extremely high probability of a real baller.

This seems like youre run of the mill Celtic sign 'n hope transfer. Only we're paying a big chunk for it.

I mean as cited before in this window, fees are rising and a player we could have secured for 4-5m a few years ago is probably around 8 million now.

MLS clubs are beginning to sell their players for higher fees, and evidently this lad is the beating heart of that LA side.. (currently 2nd and halfway through their season).

 

We seem to want him regardless of O’Riley leaving. I assume Engels would be the one we’d go for if he does leave (which he will).

For the whole Poland thing, I wouldn’t read much into that. A lot of coaches look down on leagues like MLS and just outright ignore good players there. Clarke with Gauld despite him being a standout there.

It’s not a bad league. The defending isn’t great, but looking at Bogusz, his goals and stats look excellent.. I just have no idea how he fits into our team. Maybe we’ll go to a 4-2-3-1 with him in the 10 and Engels/Hatate and McGregor behind? No idea.

I get the feeling he’s a winger as opposed to a Matt replacement. More of a winger/third striker/attacking midfielder.
