Personally, I'd just walk away from the deal and sign Sanches for £3.5m.

We've obviously still not given LAFC a reason not to have him travel.
No surprise that our blundering board couldn't even find a viable path toward a deal, never mind agree it.
Absolutely no chance this is happening.

Not for me Sanches feels like another Holm level of player in terms of his development. He looks to have talent but I doubt he would come in and play regularly. He isn’t as versatile either he has hardly played wide.

Bogusz although this is a breakout season seems first team ready. If we can’t get a deal done now, I would look at a loan for the season possibly with an option to buy from one of the bigger leagues.

Not paid attention to Sanches but looked him up 1 assist in 50 games in the top division in Switzerland for a midfielder :97:

It's awkward because he's probably not worth £10m today. But his potential could be. It's up to Celtic if they want to take the risk and pay over the odds.

Imagine if MK dons were wanting £5m for O'Riley, and at that point he wasn't worth it. Hindsight would tell us we'd * the hand off even for £5m.

Bogusz has been called up to the national team so at least there's management out with Celtic who see his potential if they were needing clarification. Pay the £10m I say. We need to be brave if we don't want an embarrassing champions league campaign again.

Aye I'm caught between genuine excitement of the names linked (Bougasz and Engels) and waiting for the usual excuses.

Neither of these two needed to wait til this time in the window. Neither was dependent on the euros of the Olympics or anything silly. Neither are dependent on other clubs doing business and some mythical domino effect.

We've got the money in the bank, at least one of these two should have been on long ago before MOR left, with the other all but done and try trigger pulled over the weekend there.

I'm waiting for the usual "clubs didn't want to sell without their window being open" but we won't then go back for him in January.

On Monday I was expecting 4 signings to be made. Now it only looks like the Barca kid.

We should also sign him as well. Both would be ideal.

Our only glimmer of hope is LAFC were due to sell another player for a similar fee which has also travelled to Washington state. Maybe both go through Friday as per their boards wishes.

Personally it's wreckless. They've no reason to sell and can't replace.

I've given up on him. It's gone to quiet.

Have to say I never thought this one was going to happen. The idea that this board would allow us to not just replace O'Riley but actually spend most of the profit from that deal on not one but 2 players who would both be at or close to record signings is never something I thought would happen.

Aye he's the one I'm not so sure will sign, we'll know by tonight imo.

Could be one we revisit in January alongside Balikshawa.

Mateusz Bogusz's transfer to Celtic is most likely not going to happen. According to the Meczyki.pl portal , the Scottish giant has focused on another midfielder.

Mateusz Bogusz is doing great for Los Angeles FC. He played in seven Leagues Cup matches, scored three goals, and provided two assists, and his club reached the grand final.
At the same time, there was speculation about a possible transfer for the 23-year-old. Celtic were interested in the services of the central midfielder. According to Sky Sports, the Scottish giant even made an official offer, which we described HERE

However, we have managed to establish that such a move will probably not take place. The Islanders have focused on bringing in Arne Engels from Augsburg. The 20-year-old started this season in the German club's first team.
If the young Belgian does end up in Glasgow, he should be in contention to fill the spot vacated by Matt O'Riley. The Danish international recently moved to Brighton

Of course, Bogusz's name is also on the lists of other teams. There is a certain chance that something else will happen before the end of the window. However, for now, the Pole is staying in Los Angeles.
The 23-year-old has played in the UK in the past. He was with Leeds United from 2019 to 2023. He spent a lot of time on loan and made three appearances for the English club's first team.
