Think it’s definitely a Mark Cooper recommendation. Also, someone said the technical director for LAFC used to work for us as a scout. Not sure how true that is though.

Reckon he'll be a 10 for us, like Armstrong or rogic type. or apart of a 2 up top possibly in Europe. Having him gives us options to change formation.

 

I think ur probably right but it's a lot of money to spend on someone who Lilley won't start. If he's being signed as a midfielder he's behind Mcgregor, Hatate and Engels (of we get him). As a wide option I wouldn't have him ahead of Maeda. Even changing shape to a 4231 to play with a 10 if rather have Hatate in there.

 

Midfield options of McGregor, hatate, Engels, Bernardo, Bougasz, would be the best level of quality we've had in a long time there.
I'd be all for it.

Surely this guy is seen as an 8 or a 10. If so I think he could be good but I’d still prefer Engels

It's weird as this boy appears to play best in a position we don't really play.

 

Maybe Bogusz if we want to play more attacking and Bernardo if we need to be a bit more solid in midfield.

Aye would be real quality and depth which is definitely needed for number of games coming up.

 

Watching his highlights again and his timing of runs and finishing is off a high quality. He also seems to have good delivery from set plays. He can also spot a pass.

It’s hard to see how he would fit in unless we played with two deeper centre midfielders and he played like a 10 role with perhaps Idah dropping deep at times and Bogusz going beyond him as he seems to time those sort of runs well.

Rodgers does tend to like players who can play a few different positions, so his versatility as well as a wide player to get in like another striker may be what he sees for Bogusz.

 

Think LA is 9 hours behind or something daft so I wouldn't expect much news today. But we have to hear something by tomorrow if it's going ahead.

 

Two deep sitting midfielders might be exactly what we need in Europe

 

If he is on his on his way, I'd imagine he'll be in Glasgow or London tomorrow or Wed to do his medical. Then media stuff and announced on Friday.
