Haven't listened to it admittedly, but isn't it incumbent on the BBC to provide an alternative point of view? In the interest of political & journalistic impartiality.

They made a mistake not putting anyone on. I'm only a couple of minutes in and already he has been able to claim all sorts of outrageous things without challenge. He claims that he is disappointing Celtic fans by not being offended by the Palestinian flag, which is an underhand way of pushing the incorrect view that this was about trying to offend them and he actually claims that a member of the GB called for Bitton to be gassed.

Fair enough,the GB might've refused to cooperate,but it makes sense for a supposedly impartial broadcaster to have someone to speak for the other point of view.Surely they could've even got someone like George Galloway,or some other prominent Celtic fan/Scot with pro-Palestinian sympathies to participate?

 

The interviewer done what she could to give a balance and explained that the GB had been asked to appear but declined, she also read out the statement from the website. However when the journalist talked about the small group of Israelis being intimidated as she wasn't there (another good reason for the GB to have had a spokes person on the show) there wasn't much she could say.
