We are one of most charitable and conscientious fans in the UK but we don't half bypass on the humility.

Do you expect us to be meek and mild and stand by and let these oppressors walk all over the Palestinians that have done nothing to deserve the harm that has come their way.
    Not a * chance.
If the Green Brigade (* bless Them All) were humble there wouldn't be a cat in hells chance that this fund raising effort would be a success.
Well done the GB for all your efforts. Long may it continue.:50:

    * gargantuan effort from all the Celtic fans and anyone donating. All credit to the green brigade for the persistence they have shown in continuing the protest. When UEFA said no and dealt out the threats. They didn't shirk, they were more determined to highlight not just the Palestine issue but the injustice of who's flag fits or not. Hail hail to the Celts and the Green Brigade. I also think the clubs stance, by remaining silent, is the right path. And also for those who say football and politics don't mix. That is naive and a line put out by sporting bodies who toe the party line. The fact is, football is for the people and when the people rebel, we will be heard. Governments, UEFA and FIFA have used politics Often to fit their own agendas.:50:

Efforts like this simply show that, despite whatever happens on the park, this is a club that will never forget it's charitable roots.

    Incredible.

Maybe we can reach the £160,000 target by the end of the Aberdeen match.

Regularly football endorse political activism, November weaimg poppys, national anthems being played, heads of states being welcomed onto pitches in cup finals etc, minutes silences for victims, This is numerous examples of football welcoming and endorsing political actions, That remake of dont mix is only included when talking about politics that is not for the powerful and the media welcome stories
