    Hendry - known SPFL quantity to a lesser extent.
    Compper - almost completely unknown quantity.

    Really nothing to concern anyone with, it was a straight up common sense decision.

    What I think sealed Compper's fate of not getting a game is against Morton he looked a bit timid in terms of wanting to get involved, he just made a 10 yard pass any time he got the ball and it was quite clear he took the game as more of a training session for himself. He never attempted to bring the ball forward and looked hesitant to run at any point in the game, it maybe because he never got tested but I think he himself didn't really want to get involved in doing too much.

    I know you have put it like that, but Boyata wasn’t even doing the basics as a defender. Doesn’t matter what league you are a known quantity he is a bomb scare and has had atleast 2-3 chances now.

    That's the problem him and Jozo are capable of playing well for at reasonable length of time but then for some reason both put in a string of horror shows equally as regularly. Just can't have that. Both need moved on. Ajer certainly looks like one of the replacements, time will tell with Compper

    I’m not at that stage with Jozo yet. He was a very consistent performer for us. I am at that stage with Boyata because he has always struggled for consistency.

    I would say Simunovic has been poor since the Hearts game. That’s the turning point imo.

    Nearly putting missing posters up for him round Glasgow. Signed, got injured immediately, slowly came back and was given his first taste in a lower league game, then completely disappeared again.

    For someone who came in with genuine pedigree it’s been a bizarre situation, and quite concerning as we really needed him to build up a run of games ahead of the qualifiers. I wouldn’t start him ahead of either Ajer or Hendry now.

    Recruitment in January has been odd Compper and Musonda hardly featured. 2 big signings.
    wheareas the lesser signings in Bain and Hendry look like nailing a place.
