I do. I have my wishlist for Celtic, but I know those are just wishes. Unless WGS gets on one of those players.

Well dude, i hope that's a load of pish, as it's by far the most depressing article of the summer bar Gravs agent saying he would see out his contract! * *....

I can foresee Simic being the purchased defender, sadly...Still plenty time left in the transfer window, but the village idiot will tell you it's vastly preferable to have new additions to the squad TRAIN with the squad before the start of the respective domestic season...

This is now looking nigh on impossible for anyone other than Paddy and Sammy.

I thought that the previously quoted price had been 6 million euros, in truth...

Either way, a lot of money.

He aint coming. We'll have to make do with what we've got i'm afraid. Strachan will have no excuses this time round in terms of champions league. He said last season the only way to progress further was a better quality of player. He's definately had the chance this summer to do just that because money is available. FFS a monkey playin wae his chookie is mare use than Lee Naylor but if Strachan blames anything on not having better quality of player - then the blame is down to him!

how is it? he just has a wishlist, of players he thinks will improve the team, handed into the board and Lawwell. its down to the board to back WGS financially and Lawwell to negotiate with that finance.

    just seen Basa's Wiki page...
    Personal Life

No offence idiot but I don't like your tone!

What I've highlighted there I have translated in my head as:

    1) Strachan has had the money to buy players.
    2) The better quality of player has been available.
    3) For some reason Strachan has declined to sign such a player.

No offence but that is complete bullshit. We have to sign BETTER QUALITY players than what we have FOR THE RIGHT PRICE. Or am I stating the obvious?

That and the fact PL does the signing of folk in the first place....

Still agree with points "1" and "2" you mentioned though... but then again, that's * elementary. It all comes down to money in the end.......

Still can't see this one happening guys. I think we'll have to make do with what we've got.

All this talk of Rangers being in financial trouble etc, i don't buy into that. I think they've basically budgeted for not making the CL this season. They made £12m from last seasons exploits, plus an extra £5m from their run to Manchester. They also made £9m from the sale of Hutton which in basis is around what they would have made from this years CL run. I can't see them selling any of their players. Yes it's a huge blow but they shouldn't be underestimated yet.

In light of this, WE NEED MORE PLAYERS. 2 new defenders and a guarantee from Strachan that Donati will never wear the strip again would suit me fine and make me feel easier :50:
