Would like to see him playing in the SPL again, maybe back at Dundee United. Aberdeen, Hibs and Motherwell would be good choices too.

Yep Aberdeen or Dundee united would be a good move for wilson,I'd be surprised if there isn't a batch of spl clubs interested in bringing him back...

A really good solid player cut back by injuries, was great for us the year he was playing all over the back and scoring goals aswell, good celtic man aswell and if he didn't get a deal somewhere hopefully Lenny would find a role for him with the youth squads or something?

I know loads of players get injured and can't find clubs or are forced to retire but I think Wilson would deserve it!

Wilson doesnt really have injury problems, he has knee problems that cant be fixed meaning its impossible really for him to play a whole season. He could maybe play week in week out for a month or so but he'd probably need a rest and then he could do it again and rest for a whole or he could play every now and again and miss the odd training session. Similar to Broony's hip problem only a good bit worse.

True, hate seeing players(ex players) that loved the club and played out there skin struggle with problems that can't be helped..

Suppose that's why the lack of interest in the spl,he would walk into any spl team if it weren't for his knee as you say!

always liked him. Especially during his scoring spree in Lenny's first season.

Loved him as a player, he would make a cracking coach, his attitude has always been spot on.

Well I'm glad he has left City, it disturbed me greatly when he went there. If he is still living in Bristol I would suggest he pop north of the river and play for The Gas next season.

Hope he manages to get a good deal fixed up for himself. Always liked him when he was at Celtic. Just such a pity he was injured as much as he was with us.

Bristol City were never good enough for him anyway. I hope he finds a club where his talents will be appreciated and he can get more games. Great attitude, good player. I wish him every success in whatever he does.

Surely Bristol City aren't good enough for anyone !

I am glad he has left them though, I always admired him and hated it when he signed for them.

His injury problems have been fairly well documented, and I suspect City's releagation and need to now cut their playing budget did for him there. If he is happy down here and wants to stay some local side could have a very good coach/player on their hands.

I agree with you, always hated Bristol City. Have a soft spot for Rovers going back to the 80s. Also read a book by a Rovers fan about the soul scene in Bristol. And this confirmed my thoughts. City are *. Was gutted to see Wilson sign for them. Good luck to Wilson, top Bhoy!
