I still want him here personally. Never let us down when he's played. Injuries though

 

Was our best right back until Matthews signed (and yes, I rated him much higher than Hinkel). Just really a shame about his injuries.
I really hope he gets a good club and stays injury free.

Great story mate.

I think we all forget sometimes, that some players who are with Celtic are FANS living out their boyhood dream in playing for the club - Willo is/was one of these players.

This guy will take every moment he played in a Celtic jersey throughout the rest of his life in his memory, knowing that he did it.......he became what he always dreamed of as a wee ginger-heeded wean kicking the ball about the street.

He will leave the club with thousands of people's good wishes and blessings.

More than capable for playing Championship football - that's were he will end up hazarding a guess.

Good luck to him wherever he goes.

 

Cracking guy and he fully deserves another League winner's medal. Sadly injuries and his almost mandatory few months on the sidelines each season have hampered his career but he can go about his business with his head held high

All the best Mark seemed like a very down to earth guy really wish him well. Did he not come up against Ronaldo when we beat Utd and done very well, I could be wrong but a great servant to the club.

my fav memory is when he hit that belter off the top of papac's head and * knocked him about and scored on the rebound hahaha

 

Marky that was a great story. He's a topman, last season outside Celtic Park after the game he stood talking to me and my mate for around 20mins, was in no rush to get away. He'll always be a Celt.

 

Another amazing hunskelping that was.

Sad to see Wilson go as from what i've seen he's better than Lustig and Cha but with the competition for places and his bad luck with injuries, it's probably for the best that he's on his way.

Great from Lenny to put him on tonight and then sub him to take the applause of the crowd.

Gutted. One of my favourite players.

 

I'm sad to see him go too, good guy and a good player it's a shame he got so many injuries. All the best to him wherever he goes.

 

I wish Neil Lennon had given Mark Wilson his last game against Hearts and that Celtic announced before the match that it would be his last game. It would have been great for Wilson to play his last game in front of a full house. I think he deserves that.

 

I reckon if he doesn't play there'll be something at half time for him. He deserves a proper send off.

I've been lucky enough to meet him and he comes across as a genuine, down to earth guy. His attitude towards the club and his career has been first class and he'll be missed.

 

I am very sad about this. A great player and committed to the core, loves the club too so its a shame to see him go. Funny things is that I thought he looked close to his best tonight but his amount injuries have taken their toll on the game time we can give him. Will hopefully be remembered for his outstanding play last year and as the goal machine he was when it mattered!

 

* bless Marco ! I always thought he was a player and a half, never backed down for the shirt, one of my favourites and always gave his all for the club he supports ! ONE MARK WILSON !

Sad to see him go he was a great player for us and a great guy.He wore the Celtic shirt proudly and is a massive supporter of the club i hope he goes on to a good team now and does really well he deserves it...YNWA:wilson:
