    Oh man, I'm honestly gutted that Mark is leaving us. I know that he's been hampered by injuries a lot throughout his career, but it's still really sad to see someone who's been here for six years and given 100% every time he's been on the park, moving on.

    At least he got the send off he deserved tonight. The ovation when he was replaced was sensational. Sent shivers down my spine. It was almost as if the supporters inside the stadium knew that they might not see him play in the famous green and white hoops again.

    Anyway, * bless you Mark. Best of luck in the future.

    I think that sums up Mark Wilson pretty well. :50:

    A nice story I heard about Mark Wilson..................

    On the night Celtic clinched the league title against Hearts in 2006, Mark Wilson did something I'd have probably done myself. While the players and management were in the dressing room celebrating, Wilson decided to grab one of the bottles of champagne and have a wee moment to himself. Still dressed in his full Celtic strip, and armed with his bottle of champagne, he headed off down the tunnel and took a walk around the Parkhead pitch. He then spent a few minutes looking around the empty and floodlit stadium thinking over where he was and what he had just achieved.

    I think we'd all like to have been Mark Wilson in that moment. :celt_2:

    He'll be moving on to another club, he wants to continue playing. Neil Lennon said the club would try and help him find a club if he wanted them too.

    Thought it would have been his last game when he was made captain. Nice touch, he will be one of the best players in the Championship for whatever team he joins, was always one of my favourite players and its a shame he cant play all the time.
