Wonder what his injury was? It was never reported in Oz so I kept assuming (wrongly) it was minor.

Given he has missed all pre-season you would think its going to take some time for him to even get his fitness up never mind match sharpness so I would imagine we are a ways away from seeing Tilio on the pitch yet.

 

Got to think that he must hit the ground running as I think fans might be on his back pretty quick , think he will be a good player though

 

He’ll take a while to get up to speed, more likely to see an impact from him later in the season unless there’s more injuries. I think he’ll surprise a few of us.

 

Aye, it’s been a tough break for him and must make settling in that wee bit tougher when he’s not been out there training with his new teammates. I’d be surprised if we see a whole lot of him this side of Christmas to be honest.

I was talking to an Aussie yesterday who was raving about him and just how dynamic and unpredictable he can be. Tbh I’d kind of forgotten about him; but hopefully he makes a big impact.

 

Might be similar to Giakoumakis where he comes in raring to go post winter break.

 

Probably about the best we can hope for with Tilio at this point.

 

Marco Tilio is back with the squad, back training, it will take him a little bit of time to get up to speed. Some of the other boys are a little bit behind. The squad is looking healthier and hopefully the return of a few more of these players will be good for us.

 

With Abada out for the next 3-4 months apparently, really hope this guy is not more than another week or two away.

 

Surely will be up to speed by mid-October.

 

Big, big season for Marco and Palma now that Abada is out.

 

Looks like he's been putting in plenty of work on the bike.

 

He'll be in the team a lot quicker now than maybe was originally planned. Expect to see him early October if he's already out training.

 

I have increasingly been hearing really positive reviews of him from some of those tactics podcasts who believe he has it in him to do well.

Coming in injured was a big blow, Abada’s injury also leaves us with a big question over who is our starting right winger when they are all fit (except Abada). Yang, Tilio, do Johnston or Vata get a look in?

 

Aye there's an absolutely massive opportunity for one of them to make that position theirs. Yang will obviously get a lot of starts over the next 6 weeks or so but no reason why Tilio or Vata can't come in and make an impression.

Next international break is in 3 weeks time. Maybe get to see him last game of this block v Kilmarnock at home then hopefully he's up to full speed after the break.
