    although not involved so much with Janko, i just "heard" that Porto deal is off because they couldn´t provide a "bank guarantee". have no official source for that though.

    if we were seriously competing for him, its nice to hear and the board might well be willing to spend decent funds on the right player. this guy can finish and was hoping we pursued him more a couple of years ago when it was reported we were interested. top notch technique with superb left foot.

    Sources now say, as Wikav says too, that the clubs cant find a financial agreement

    Love to see him in the Hoops, I genuinely thought his fee would have much higher, and well out of our reach. But surely we can easily afford, say up to 4m for a player of Janko's class. Remember, wages in Holland and Portugal, are low compared to Britain, even low compared to what we pay at Celtic :50:
