Right. I like the sound of this whole Crosas thing.

It's looking more and more likely though that the Tamas deal won't be going through. I'm okay with that though as at least it looks like we're still gonna try and bring in a couple of defenders before the CL gets underway.

 

No-one else abit dissapointed with the £1.5 mil buy back clause after 2 seasons? If he does even nearly live up to his hype he'll be nabbed right back of us before he reaches his best. Still chuffed hes coming like but thats a bit of a downer for me. Seems almost like a longterm loan.

i sure am. its basically a 2 year loan deal that we will get paid a few 100grand for if they buy him back. on that its a good thing but if barca want him back it means he has been a hit and we're losing a great player for 2million euro.

if barca want him back.. he must have had 2 * of amazing seasons up here. in which case it was well worth it.

Certainly by all accounts if this deal does come off as reported it looks like another great piece of work by the SSM.
Barcelona play a friendly in New York tonight so it will be interesting to see if Crosas is there and or if he plays.

Guys, what I read on Barcelona website was that it was 500,000 euros up front, with an additional 900,000 depending on other things. It also included a 25% Clause if Celtic sell him and also a buyback of 2 Million Euro at the end of season 2009/10. Just thought that I would add in that it is a bit cheaper than stated!! :icon_mrgreen:

 

If we are only going to pay that amount we must still have a healthy war chest of cash for a couple more quality signings.It would take our summer spending to 2 million on 3 players
