Watched it this morning and feel for Marquez, he was robbed. Pacman wasnt upto his usual standards, and you dont see that often about him. The guy at the end of the stream i watched, must be the promotor, (Bob Arum, just checked him and he is Pacmans promotor) said he wants to see them going again as it will break all sorts of money records. What kind of a * statement is that after Marquez was robbed of a points win.

I dont know if everyone else got the British commentary, but the link i just watched was an American commentary and they had Pac ahead the whole fight.Maybe that made me biased listening to them...but either way, i think the UFC is spoiling me for blood * or something, as i found myself bored half way through!Guida and Henderson.....now THAT was a fight!

I have to say that although pac man was the agressor the better punches were coming from jmm. for every flurry of punches pac gave jmms forearms jmm had a cleaner, crisper counter.

If judges only counted agression we wouldn't have great technical boxers like jmm.

The most telling thing though is the body language at the end of the fight: Pac waslooking dispondant and he and roach were stunned by the dec. infact roach's face was a picture.

Its all done and dusted now so no point in over it.

But pac will clearly be destroyed by moeny mayweather if the fight gets made. If not we will hopefully get pac vs jmm 4 and even a 5 if jmm wins. man that would be propper old skolol if jmm and pac fought a total of 5 times.

 

Tbh a thought a draw would have been the most accurate result. Marquez done well tactically but imo did not do nearly enough damage to Pacman to merit winning a belt from the fight. Conversely Pacman didn't do enough to win the fight either and there was never 4 points in it don't know what the 3rd judge was watching.

First judge got the points decision spot on imo

 

seriously watch it again when the decisionis announced he knowshe didnt win.
