He said he hopes they end up in the UEFA cup, big difference.

Hinkel is better than Neville because these days Gary Neville is slow, clumsy and often tired because he has been out for 17 months.

Rooney is a decent striker but hardly world class. Lot of players with a lot better creativity and finishing ability than him. Ronaldo is the guy we need to worry about if hes back. Can't deny he is a class above the rest.

Man utd are beatable and drawable in manchester. they always have a tough time in the group stages. ronaldo isn't going to have as good a season as he did last season. not only that but usually the retaining champions don't do too well the following year.
they havn't signed any key players either.

"Why would we? We're not animals like them, and nor are Celtic fans, who have never behaved anything like that in someone else's city, and don't deserve some retarded retribution for something they didn't do."

    thats my point mate.

he's a decent striker, but as a football player all round he's marvellous.

    Ah, the voice of reason.

The vast majority of Man U fans are a decent bunch and there are a lot of correlations between ourselves and them. ie. a large Irish-Catholic fanbase, hated by Rangers, proud European history etc.

You're always gonna get some imbeciles like that 'Dee Ulsterman' *.
His very name suggests that he is a loyalist (and therefore a Hun sympathiser), because in the main, loyalists refer to themselves as Ulstermen/women, despite not knowing the difference between Ulster and Northern Ireland. Idiots.

Utd are overall top class team.

Although he had a gd euro 2008 i don't really rate van der sar. Think he's always liable for a * up.

    Defence is top class.

Midfield good although i think giggs is no better than average now but then again there's a gd chance he wont start.

Rooney i think is top class but i think Tevez is overrated. Gd enough player but mainly just works his balls off! Its a joke it was rumoured he was going to be signed for in around £30m. think he's worth about a third of that.

Still, individually they're on a different level to us but collectively we can give them a game.

On a second point, i must admit it really * me off people saying they also follow Utd etc. IMO you should support 1 team. End of story. I'd actually go as far as saying you can't be a proper supporter if you support another team!

No, have to disagree here. Celtic Park has become known for being one of the hardest stadiums to win in the competition. Manchester United fans know that themselves after last time. It's the place to me which stands out for a potential for them to drop points.

aye agreed, but i doubt the players will be * it.

they're the european champions, they will no they will need to perform, but * it is a bit much.

Yes, but I'm sure AC Milan, European champions weren't * it either when they came last season but Celtic yet again proved a point. Put it this way, I'm sure Manchester United's fans and players are a lot less confident coming this time than they were in 2006.

I'm no saying they'll be expecting to win.

but they also won't lose any sleep over it either is all I'm saying.

barcelona never * it did they, and if they did, it still never affected their performance.

if teams * it going away from home, * help us when we go to Old Trafford then.

In my opinion your opinion is *. I am a die hard Celtic fan always have and always will be, infact i am often accused of beeing "too emotionally involved" with the team. I have family in manchester and my preffered team in the premiership is man utd, infact there are teams all over the world i like to see do well. This is not because i am a glory hunter but because i am a general lover of football and watch football from all over europe regularly.

But by your logic, despite the fact that i love celtic more than i can express, have followed them all my life, through the good, through the bad, through the dominance of the scum, and haven't missed a game in years, i am "not a proper supporter"
