Would be a very good signing for City, looks like they are the new Chelsea, might not break into the top 4 this season, next season at the earliest

I've just seen in tv Valencia CF manager saying that Real Madrid asked if Villa was transferable and he just said 'NO' so they didn't even make an offer.

So it would be so weird if now Man City comes and signs him. If they do he surely will be much more expensive than Berbatov. 40 millions or so.

We are just putting out statements of intent now. We'll never get any of these players at this moment in time.

No matter what money we may have in the future, you are not going to convince world class players to sign for a club they had never heard of yesterday, in five minutes flat, before the deadline.

I'm not bothered about signing anyone today. For once in my lifetime, we have hope! :icon_mrgreen:

On Sky Sports transfer clockwatch it states

22.02 Sky Sports News sources understand that Manchester City have put in place a £32.5million deal to sign Robinho from Real Madrid, while reports in Spain say the deal has been done. Chelsea had been hoping to capture the Brazilian, so will there be a late twist in the transfer?

ah no this aint to do with Villa, but Man City are gone transfer daft, so there would be hundreds o threads.

Robinho has been owned... "it's not about the money it's about my future and being the best player in the world, i can't get that in RM"

Sure you will in Man City, *.

Villa didn't knock back RM, he wants to play for them. It's Valencia which cannot sell their best player to a direct enemy, even if they need the money (huge debt valencia has)

    salute,
