    quigly13 that is true. Do you not think Boruc signed a new deal cause he wanted to stay. When Larsson signed a new deal it was stated that he was leaving. He went on a free transfer too

    What I was getting at was that it was stated that he had not played against the top teams which was garbage as his goals v chelsea kind of porve that he played I think

    Yes..i know what you mean...but why would a player feel obliged to do this for any club? Its harsh for fans to think players should look after the club by singing extensions all the time.....remember its swing in roundabouts....its what we come up against if we try to sign players.

    I think that he would prove a very good signing if he came back but it would take a monumental effort to win over the fans. I think that the same was for mcdonald after his 2 goals for Motherwell

    Like come on its not like he went to rangers and is now coming back LOL

    i dont even know what you are trying to say here.

    He moved to tey and better himself by playing agaisnt better opposition every week. If he thinks its not for him now because he hasnt settled or isnt getitng his game fair enough....hes not making celtic take him back...it their choice!

    My eyes are wide open mate, believe me.

    The fact the club supposedley want him back suggests they dot think he shafted them in any way before.

    McDonald has a few good seasons at Motherwell already before he came to us and a very good with us. but I'm not hailing him as the new larsson, as some celtic supporters already do.

    Yes, he did well for motherwell. Maloney had played on a different level from him and won POTY....as well as being an internationalist.

    Mcdonald is not the finished article. I also believe there is no reason why can not make a similar contribution as larsson and earn that same respect.

    Our current crop of players will continue making the chances for the strikers and I firmly believe next season will be another 30 goal season for mcdonald
