According to the celtic site Maloney has exceeded 'all expectations' in his recovery from the devastating injury that has kept him out for so long. Maloney is predicted to be back in action during October- 2 Months less than first anticipated..
Im delighted with the news, at the moment we have 3 decent fit strikers one of which barely has much experience (Beattie).. The return of Maloney I think will boost teh camp and also add another good forward back into the mix now lets hope he comes back as good or even better than before!
Discuss Maloney back sooner than expected in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.

Hes been around for a while but many of us forget just how young he still is, 21 isnt it? A superb prospect for the future if like you say he can stay injury free.

Maloney and Beattie are both good strikers and hopes for the future. But I want a new striker in place. Henrik Larsson has gone leaving a gap - a very big one. Accept no immitations and let's see a quality, skilful, pacy new forward in place please Mr. O'Neill.
