Ronny isn't the answer. Gutted for him.

Our current crop of players are a bigger problem than our manager in my opinion. We are not a Champions League level team.

    You think Ronny's the problem?

He's blown 3 chances of CL qualification against teams we should be eliminating - he has to take a lot of the flak. Saying the players looked 'scared', it's his job to get them in the right mindset for our biggest game of the season. Absolutely scunnered with that.

Oh Celtic, why do you do this to us? :54:

We can't judge Ronny till this time next season. There are some things of concern but also a lot of optimism around the club

We said the same thing a year ago. At least we came close to eliminating Maribor and didn't go out with a whimper like last night. That's regression when it's his team he's built.

Again the use of the phrase "back up"

I would genuinely like to go "back up" Mount Everest, however seeing as I have never been there before I would like to go up Mount Everest (and Judith The Weather!)

    Catching my drift?

Doctor Venglos post on Deadco and their European Cup Winners (also defunct like Rangers) exploits is an absolute cracker. :smiley-laughing002: There is no way on *'s green earth a Celtic fan would champion the dead club like that. It's evidently clear what he is, and wouldn't look out of place in Resident Evil.

He is. He just has no clue about the defensive side of things. And that's a massive problem in Europe. I had hoped he'd bring in a coach who could help us be a stronger defensive unit, but that didn't happen. The players didn't try hard enough last night, but his failure is chronic and systemic. He can stay as a coach at the club, but we need a new manager.

Would yoü say the same thing if we got that goal we should have and it ended 1-1 with the players playing just as bad as they did yesterday?

Slept on it now so I'm less raging.

Some dodgy refereeing last night but I don't think anyone can argue that the better team went through. We were just pish in every way. Completely surrendered the game. Gutted.

I'd still be worried, yes. Even if we score, we often concede lots of goals in Europe.

Ironically, i bet the team that played dundee united could have won. They attacked more direct then this half-
Mooning passing around the defense until they lose the ball *.

To conceide 3 goals against at corners like we did is because of players personal mistake by not marking their man. It's not down to defensive organisation.

It's not a failure of management, it's a failure of the players to step up to the big leagues. Even normally-dependable guys were terrible last night.

John Hartson said It could have been all so different if we had got that goal or a pen and Malo went down to ten.

He didn't mention that Leigh should have walked for putting his knee in a guys nuts and we could have been down to ten.

At the end of the day we just weren't good enough on the night and that is the most honest truth about the game last night.

That was out of pure frustration which there wouldn't have been if we had rightly levelled the tie.

Frustrating as an Aussie to see Rogic sitting on the bench, having seen him win games like that countless times. Though wouldnt have worked last night, as he's still trying to find his feet at Celtic. Maybe next year.

Feeling of anger more than anything this morning.

Celtic scared of Malmö? Deary me you would. Think we were playing Juventus or something last night.

Said it in the match thread that we are giving these clowns far too much respect as they looked shaky as * at the back.

I'm also amazed at how that sucker punch of a late goal in Glasgow carried over in to last night's game.

No one to blame but ourselves.
