Tbf - I think he's actually pretty * "in the air"
I'd single it out as his biggest weakness.

He miles clear of Welsh id say.

Next season Nawrocki and scales battling it out for that place, but that's healthy competition.

For 20k a week in Scotland you'd like to think he would be more sure of himself. Still young.

Thought he won pretty much everything that came his way to be honest.

Much more composed on the ball than scalesnfor me. Shame he's been injured and lack of match fitness.
If he stays fit for preseason we will get a proper look

Thought he looked very solid overall yesterday, and as someone said earlier in the thread he’s streets ahead of Scales with the ball at his feet.

    There is something about him.
Give him a run of games next season.

Jozo was fairly quick IIRC. This guy is slow.

I think he will be good but he looks fairly small for a cb. Alongside CCV I’d rather a big unit of a cb that is dominant in the air

Have found it hard to make a judgement on him, as I don’t think he’s been given a fair run of games to really settle into a partnership.

Lagerbileke and Kobayashi hopefully get sold this summer but Nawrocki I am still up in the air on. Has obviously had an injury plagued first season but probably has shown enough promising glimpse's to be worth giving him a second season to see if he has a future with us IMHO.

He's not worse than Welsh tho.

Constantly beaten in the air every time he plays

Always find it weird when I see people say how soft the Polish league is. Even people from over there who watch it say it's physically a weak league. Given the mental fans over there and the sort of Eastern European stereotype, it's just strange.

Nawrocki sort of fits that anyway. For quite a big guy, he's not dominant at all.

We should never buy a centreback from a league where Patryk Klimala managed to look relatively decent :giggle1:

Not at the races for me. Looks awkward and often times that is a giveaway.

No real reason to loan him back to Legia.

I'd 100% be fine loaning him out elswhere, but loaning him back there wouldn't improve him anymore than when he left.

Only loan young players out for development, and older players on a loan with an option to buy.

I doubt Polish teams could afford his transfer fee and wages. Loaning him back to Poland is a waste of time and money.

I still think he deserves more of a chance here.
